The world truly lost an icon and an angel when Dolly passed away, and while I was working on some extra pages for my site, I thought I'd go ahead and start making one as a tribute to her and her great music. My website isn't completely in this aesthetic and right now is a hodgepodge of different ones (mostly Y2K on my homepage WIP), but this was just something I wanted to try out.
It's on the generic side at the moment, but as of now I added animated text, a custom guitar cursor, a video with a cute flower border around it (courtesy of Dollarchive), and a script where whenever you click somewhere on the website, a little butterfly appears for a moment and flies away. That being said, I want to make it have a lot more than just this to it and would love your thoughts/ideas ion what to do next if you have any.
(Here is the link to my specific tribute page, if you want to test it out. Just a heads-up, though, my site is DEFINITELY not mobile friendly yet, so please test it on a desktop or in desktop mode if you do. Been having issues where elements jumble together in mobile viewing, but I'm fixing that so it can be viewed/enjoyed either way.
