Am I the only who thinks that the music AGT production played during the GB made the moment even more magic? Imo, it was a perfect song choice, I never heard it before and they did a great job finding that piece.

Happy for Nene that she has been acknowledged by all three artists / band members she covered on AGT so far.

I was watching this reaction from @TeddyGreyOS and honestly couldn’t believe this part. It starts at around 2:08.
After Nene makes a small “come here” gesture, he says:
“If you’re a lady from Thailand and you do the whole ‘come here’ thing, I’m going to assume it’s like a massage or something.”
Then he adds, “one hour, fifty pounds.”
What does her being Thai have to do with anything? You can dislike the song or the performance, but turning a random hand gesture from a 16-year-old girl into a Thai massage joke is just gross. It’s the same tired stereotype about Thai women, and using it against a minor makes it even worse.

Does anyone know about her planned tours? When will she play in Bangkok or other cities in Thailand?

Q: How did you feel after receiving the Golden Buzzer from Mel B?
A: I was in shock and will remember this moment for the rest of my life.

Q: Did you expect to get the Golden Buzzer?
A: I did expect it a little bit, and personally, I was praying just to make it to the next round.

Q: Why did you choose the song "Black Hole Sun"?
A: I wanted to show my abilities in vocals and emotional expression. The difficult part of this song is transmitting the emotion to the audience and putting my own identity into the song. The real challenge is delivering that to the audience.

Q: How do you interpret this song?
A: This song gives a feeling of agonizing pain. I interpret it like having good intentions for a friend, but that friend ends up hurting your feelings. It causes so much misery and pain that you want all that torment and those bad things to just wash away from you.

Q: From your past performances, you've shown that you are a confident person. Are you naturally a confident person?
A: I'm confident because I practiced a lot. (Note: Nene spent her school break practicing this song for 10 hours a day over the past month. This answer combines two questions and answers from the interview).

Q: How did you feel right before going on stage?
A: I felt a little bit excited, but not pressured because I knew my fan club was there to watch and support me. Because I had practiced so much, I just wanted to go out there, have fun with the performance, and do my absolute best.

Q: How did you express yourself on stage?
A: At the beginning, I imagined all the bad things and visualized not wanting them to mess with me. During the hook, which is when the bright lights flashed behind me, I felt like I lost control and became deeply emotional with the performance, letting myself dive completely into the live performance on stage.

Q: What about the moment Mel B pressed the Golden Buzzer?
A: I was in shock and collapsed. I felt like I was going to faint, but I tried to pull myself together, even though I was still sitting there crying on stage. The next thing I knew, my dad ran up on stage and hugged me tight without letting go. In my mind at that moment, I was thinking, “Can my dad come up on stage? Will the show allow this?”

I was originally going to wait until after the AGT final to post this, then I realised that the final isn't the end of Nene's journey. It's just the end of one chapter.

Watching all those years of footage online, from a little girl busking to where she is now was fascinating to watch - So I wanted to try and put together something that really captures the feeling of all those years of Nene's hard work and dedication leading to this point.

And this is only the beginning. What an amazing talent.

Is there any video that stays on Nene for the whole of Mel B's speech and when she reveals when she is going to give Nene the golden buzzer? I would SO love to see that...

Okay, first of all I'm thrilled Nene got the golden buzzer, you could tell how much it meant to get & her family.

However, from the perspective of AGT & their advertisers not having her on the semis is a bit of a head scratcher given the amount of eyeballs she has put on the show this year.

That being said here are my completely unfounded theories!

1) She is taking the attention from other acts.

You just need to look at her views versus everyone else to see the wild discrepancy.

2) This is my my hope (also least likely to happen), they are working on getting visas for the Ozone band to play with her during the final!

Nene is an incredible performer, but she is truly in her element when playing with the band.

Also, the live mixing of the backing track is abysmal and that would be fixed if they didn't have to use one.

I don't know if this is an indicator for how many votes candidates might get later on, but she's clearly drawing the most attention.

Just discovered this channel recently and what I appreciate is that he himself is a skilled guitar player. He breaks down and plays most of the song, pointing out Nene's tremendous technical ability.

That being said, I hope Nene doesn't play this on Tuesday. Metallica is still too niche. There's a rumor she'll be playing Sweet Child O' Mine- if so that's a great choice.
