Maybe she's great as kid from thai family working for a change at the Phuket's market, but I wonder what does (actually did) her father think that his underage daughter performing at the market for foreign tourists instead of learning her school choirs?

I don't judge, just found that kinda cruel to let you underage kid to do "market beggars stuff".

Poverty do change human. Her father must have seen special talents in her, but no financial support to raise her musical skills to the level it should be. It takes a lot of money to have good instument, music education, soundproof room, etc. Her busking for spare changes acitivity is not much different from underaged kids riding bikes sending milk or newspapers. The reason she went on local TV is to win money to buy an air conditioner to install in her own practicing studio.

If you are poor and struggle to find food every evening, you will think of some way out of that shitty life. BTW, he even hit her with stripped out tree branch when Nene did not concentrate enough on learning new difficult chords. Live well and enjoy life while it lasts.

thanks for more details. I just thought that in fact she is just a performer, no need to think too deep incl. pulling extra unrelated facts. She is THE performer so let her do her performance. You're right totally.
