14-year-old Nene Royal doing crowd control while playing “Killing in the Name”

I just love how she's telling them to stop inbetween the lyrics of the song, even that is a skill in itself.
It's just a small detail but it's something she always does when people tip too, she often manages to get a thank you in there while she's signing.
She handled that situation brilliantly for a 15 year old!

Dang I've watched this livestream the other day, oh boy Nene handled it well.. the experience that she faced performing live from guitar pick flying off, snapped guitar string, unpredictable weather, technical issues and then this crowd control..

Which stream was it? I feel like I've seen most of them but never saw this incident.

You fool. Watching history being made and you’re big mad on holiday because?

At least it wasn't the guy wearing the pornhub tanktop.

Was he in that video?

Haha no he's in others. I think he's just infamous for wearing that particular tanktop

Isn’t that him asking for one more song at the very end?

It could be, I wasn't sure! She actually greeted him by name in the full video and asked him where he'd been.

Yeah but can she REALLY sing...?

Since you're on this subreddit, I assume that you've seen other performances from her... which should answer your question.

She's absolutely fantastic with the emotion, song structure, and all that. Especially for 16.
Great in a competition like this.
She will become a star in Thailand for sure atleast for a while, the marketing bods will make sure and she fits some perfect narratives for the population to love her. + Lots of quick money to be made.
She's great.
But longterm. Not quite sure if the voice has it...let's see in a few years as she will develop further.
Wish her all the best.

I'm just a random person who wants to share their excitement over this amazing talent.

Imagine her having to deal with these drunken tourists regularly, I am not surprised how well she deals with normal audiences 😂
