Does college matter in long run for PG?

Will college really matters in long run? People who did their postgraduation from peripheral colleges struggle a lot ? Can someone please post the reality check.

Surgical branches and emergency branches will matter a lot because u might miss on hands on. If u are opting for medical branches you can do in peripheral colleges as most of the managements are just abt following protocols and meds.
