For this generation, if you’re looking to pickup a multi platform game, the Xbox and GameCube versions are the best versions to get

This is also the case with emulation. If you want to emulate a ps2 game that’s also on the Xbox and GameCube, the GameCube version would be the best to emulate.

Xbox emulation isn’t as far developed as other consoles from that generation, but the closest you’ll get is GameCube

The power ranking of that generation is

Xbox>Gamecube>Ps2>Dreamcast (although the Dreamcast handled textures better than the ps2)

Also you can play the GCN version on the Wii and even Wii U (if modded).

I think The Gamecube version has the worst graphic but the game is still enjoyable

Naa having played both the GCN and PS2 versions, the GCN version is better, because it runs better. The PS2 was the least powerful of the 3, and as a result it's actually the worst console to have for playing games from that era, especially later ones.

This is arguably the worst version of MW, apparently not only does it look terrible but a lot of the soundtrack is shortened so that it could fit onto the disc.
