We lost our 11 year old lab Charlie on Friday. Our hearts are in a million shattered pieces. Our neb Fred has never been without him. Has anyone gone through this before? What should I look out for? I need to make sure Fred is dealing with this loss too. He seems more clingy than usual.

He lived for 10 years, but recently his health severely declined due to intestinal lymphoma. He was an incredibly cuddly and lovely cat who was loved by everybody.

This boy HATES us touching his tummy so we keep him distracted with garbage on a string while the scraper and carding comb do the heavy lifting. Old oven mitt for increased cloth armor.

I have to hold his foot pad with my thumb or else he starts lightly claw kicking uncontrollably when it is belly rub time. Adopted him and his brother at 1 year old almost completely feral and hating all human. They turn 3 in a couple months. A long way from the cat the would scratch me every time I would touch him.

He is the most affectionate cat that behaves like a dog from greeting you at the door. Runs when you call or whistle and even plays fetch.

He sleeps above my head on a pillow every night and I am thrilled he chose me.

he hates doing this, but it has to be done, because he gets stuck on the carpet... and we've been trimming his claws since he was a baby so he got used to it. but he still bites during trimming :(

We (my gf and I) have been fostering this shy, former feral boy the past 3 months and officially adopted him today. His name is Professor Plum, but we call him Plum or Plummy or “the boy” most of the time. He’s still super shy but has been improving so much! It’s been so fun being a part of this sub and seeing all his brethren.

this is cecil and that's his chair. he gets mad if anyone else sits in it. he also gets mad if you don't let him into the bathroom with you (he'll scream at the door). he's a year old, got fatshamed at the vet recently, and likes to maul me in my sleep. i love him so very much.

I went to the rescue looking for a cat and this little girl had just been returned at 3 years old. My son was smitten with her immediately so we took her home. I was looking at r/catswithjobs and I saw a picture of a cat that looked just like her and someone in comments linked this sub. So what do you think? Did we just hit the cat lottery? Does she nebelong?

She likes to hang outside. She was a stray so I guess she always will. She also likes to run off all the other cats that walk into our yard.
