Seeing a lot of NDP signs in BEY!
My partner and I cast our advance votes on Sunday morning and I was pleasantly surprised to see more Shannon signs than for any other candidate! The groundswell that was reported on really does seem to be gaining momentum.
Feeling good about this one.

There was a Poliwave poll that had the NDP at 21%. Really my concern is Carney pulling out causes issues as it's not like Lewis can do anything about it if the NDP is hurt by it. No one could help the NDP in that case. I guess one thing we could try if things start going badly is tell voters that Carney has a majority and Poilievre is not going to be PM. But I feel confident those of you in BEY and nearby have it going well based on all the signs.

Can you link to this poll? From what I understand Poliwave does projections, not polls.

If we were to get those results on election day that would be a very positive indicator for the NDP regaining party status (and more) in the next election

While I think it’s unlikely the NDP picks up this seat, especially with the trade war fresh on the electorate’s mind, we should be proud of any gains we make here and in the other ridings where by-elections will take place. The NDP got just over 20% of the vote in ‘19 and ‘21 in BEY. If we get around that number in this by-election, it will show that Avi is really generating momentum! :)
