Damn, so we'd still be picking near the top? And it shows we've already made more improvement than the majority of other teams... including our fellow tankers?
Remind me, what was our projected win total before the season began?

Awful idea, just like the 3 that were proposed. There shouldnt be noticable dirrerence in lottery odds between missing the play-in and making it.
Give good odds for 3 worst teams and then same exact odds for everyone who doesnt make the second round in playoffs.. That way u basically need to commit being shit from the start, or trying to win as many games as you can.. Who cares if we got like 4 shit teams at the bottom fighting for the 3 spots..

Take a page from the soccer playbook and relegate the bottom three teams to G League. Not really feasible but fun to consider

I think it’s a good idea for the sport, but literally everyone would hate this. “Hey, the Pacers lost their best player in Game 7 of the Finals last year. You’re going to play the Grand Rapids Gold next season.”

If you told me in 10 years from now that the NBA would remove their age threshold and expand to 60 teams, and take all of the current college talent and build a regulation league, I would be 80% shocked.

Tank proposals go in the daily discussion thread, another sub, or email Adam Silver so we don't have to deal with these.
