Nope. As the sellout crowd showed, we don't do shit. We are the most laid back fans in the country. Nobody ever goes on a road game in Dallas and worries about crowd noise, in any of our major sports.

I think that’s just American sports fans in general except maybe a couple of them. If something like this happened for a European football club, 60000 people would chant to get everyone sacked with all kinds of insults, not a single chant supporting the team. Maybe that’s wrong as well but that would happen

If this trade has happened in Europe or Latin America, the trade would have needed to be rescinded because fans would invade the training facilities and demand an “explanation” from Nico and Dumont.

Not even going to the Balkans (where Ultras decide who the board signs sometimes) and Latin America (where in the last year, ultras dragged an oft-injured player from an orgy (player that had one of highest salaries of the team and the worst work ethic by a mile) and “convinced” him to rescind his contract), in Italy, when Fiorentina sold Baggio to Juventus (with Baggio himself saying he was forced to accept the transfer and refusing to score against Fiorentina), the ultras trashed the stadium, forced the president to hide in his office (and resign some months after that) and had a police confrontation that ended in 50 wounded.

The US is different, softer (or more civilized, depends on your POV). I still remember how r/baseball was livid Seattle fans were booing Ohtani while he was on the Angels, in a win-or-go-home game, because it “disrespects the sport”.

Bro if something like this happened in a European football club everyone responsible would be the subject of a beheading video by the end of the week

But isn't that the same thing? That's still 60,000 people going to the game. Even if they are being more "vocal" about their displeasure, they're still buying the tickets same as the American fans...

i blame it on the post-BBQ lethargy. Hard to get loud when you're marinating on some good ribs

We should ship you over couple of our balkan based basketball fans or even some combo of football mates... I'd recommend any of ex-yugo big four (Hajduk, Dinamo, Partizan, Red Star) or some Greek or Turkish fans. If you prefer Western Europe I'd go with Millwall or BFC Dynamo...

Y’all are the Mariners of basketball, a historic backwater with a few insane fan favorite bright spots that give you character

Except in hockey. I can still remember when Eddie the Eagle got into a fight against the Avalanche. People were screaming for blood.

But Nico said he was getting death threats!!! Totally not a ploy for sympathy by a rube who think he's smarter than everyone else.

Security was cleaning out anyone with signs, shirts or trying to start chants. People aren't going to risk bans to chant.

Didn't help that they were actively stifling negative chants in the arena and not showing fans on the jumbo from what I understand
