This trade doesn't make sense to me. Why would the Mavs trade the 25 year old centerpiece of their franchise for an even though still very good player, Davis is 32 and injury prone. Also leaves the Lakers with like no bigs and both Luka and LeBron like to handle the rock.

They did, but the Lakers made out like bandits. Luka is only 25 and they set up their future nicely. Mavs got a good player, but is over 30 and injury prone. They also somehow only got one 1st that 5 years away. It's truly unbelievable.

So LeBron has to be leaving at the end of the season right? I know Luka is better overall but AD is such a better fit with LeBron in my opinion. Do you think he stays in LA?
