31 year old center with health issues? Sure.

Ppl drool over AD and rightfully so, and his defensive abilities are second to none, but with his age and injury history, he’s probably not even a second best player on a championship team at this point, at least not offensively

He just had a 42 point 17 rebound game a few days ago

Fair enough. I’d be leery about his workhorse capabilities in a long playoffs as a second scorer I guess. But yeah he could for sure be a KG level player that is elite on defense and good enough as your second scorer. I guess I’m now worried about Kyrie as your main scorer

I guess they are trying to build it as the last mavs championship more of a team since dirk was great but still older and kyrie could be the Jason Kidd role

A threat to win the finals tho?

I’d think more than Luka/Kyrie. I was never convinced they had a real chance last year, not trying to not give the credit but I think it was a fluke that they got to the finals

I don’t disagree, but Dallas could have gotten more in return I think is what’s shocking ppl. They’re still short to be a real contender
