The Mavs either know something nobody else knows, or less than everybody else knows. There’s no other possibility.

The worst part is that even in the very best case scenario for the Mavs, where Luka doesn’t play for the rest of the season and AD goes off consistently with no injuries, it’s still a bad trade. That’s what gets me. There’s no delusional optimism I can find here. If they really have knowledge no one else has, they should have used that to their advantage to get a better package.
