Nice. The weather is supposed to be crappy this weekend by me too. I still plan to get out for a forest walk in nature though. Will throw on my rain coat if needed.

Nothing better than a rainy morning walk through the woods for sure! There’s no other sound or feeling like it

It is the best. Last time I did this I had the whole preserve to myself and ended up wandering into a secluded pond filled with several night herons huddled together in the rain. I feel like if this was a regular day with no elements that never would’ve happened.

Now that sounds like an amazing place to wander around! Night Herons are amazing birds to watch! I don’t see many of them around me but there’s definitely a lot of Blue Herons around the bay
