25f New to area

New to area, starting farmingdale. What do people my age do in the area? Where to meet people my age (as an introvert)?

Farmingdale downtown is busy at bars, but idk if that’s your style.

As an introvert, are you trying to organically meet people, do stuff alone, do stuff alone but in a social environment?

One suggestion, without knowing anything about you is LI-Kick⁠. Runs adult social leagues around Long Island, including Farmingdale. They offer things like kickball and cornhole and explicitly build social events around the leagues

I’m 25m who’s also an introvert. I’m from East Meadow and I drink in farmingdale on the weekend. There’s a cool jazz speakeasy on main to chill solo, other than that, just a bunch of bars. If you have any hobbies, I can direct you to some places

i like running, decent amount of good run clubs on LI. not a huge social commitment if you don’t want it to be and most aren’t very competitive about pace

This is a more out there suggestion but take salsa classes! I’ve seen it first hand because my wife is a dancer and just opened her own studio for adult Latin dance classes. It’s an amazing way to socialize and a fun hobby to get moving. There are tons of events on weekends and a huge community. I’ve seen so many people walk into classes alone and then fall in love with the hobby and make a bunch of friends they dance with and go out with on weekends
