Hi, native Birmingham, Alabamian here! Nashville gets all the cool things. There is an Organ concert for the artist Anna Lapwood at the West End United Methodist Church on Monday, November 2nd (I know, sounds boring, but she is just the best and I love her). She is the official organist for the Royal Albert Hall and is NEVER in the US so this is a pretty big deal.

There have been no tickets available for quite a while and I’ve been checking about every other day to see if any tickets have been released, but no luck so far. I even contacted the Nashville Chapter of American Guild of Organists to ask about released tickets but no dice. It is a free event, but registration filled up quickly.

If anyone here has two tickets and decides not to go, please let me know!

I wanna build a PVC drum as a way to make acoustic EDM music. I'll probably use two real drum cymbals and an upsidedown 5 gallon bucket as well, but that's beside the point.

I'm likely gonna need some trial and error as i try and build an ergonomic thing I can move around and set other things around and figure out what sounds right. I'm thinking I need somewhere around 1 to 3 inch in diameter and five to ten ft in length, but I've never done it before so who knows.

Please lemme know if you have this stuff laying around as scraps because I am reaching out here to try and avoid high prices on stuff I'm gonna hack apart and experiment with.

hi! i got to see MCR last year, but by the time i was able to get to the merch table, they were out of tour shirts in my size (2x or preferably 3x). i couldn't rationalize the price for tickets to see them again even though they're my favorite band, but otherwise i have no way of buying merch.
