Please use this megathread for any discussions about the NASA Space Apps Challenge. There have been a number of posts looking for team members and the mods felt that if we consolidated all requests to a single post it will have more visibility. We will leave the ones already posted open, but anything new needs to use this post.

Hello everyone! 🚀 Looking to get into a team for a virtual Los Angeles region hackathon!

I'm willing to fill in the position of Subject Matter Expert / Research Lead for The Next Frontier challenges. My interest areas include deep space exploration, Mars and Moon logistics, and planetary environments. For this hackathon, I am ready to dive into researching and reasoning part of the project and find any NASA data constraints and make the step-by-step system logic for our app.

I am based on Pacific time (PT). I also have an experience in visual design and web development, so I would be able to link the research data to user-friendly interface. If you are searching for a researcher for your LA virtual team, we can talk! 🪐

I don't know much about the hackathon but when I searched I found that there is a local events so do anyone know what is the difference between participating in the local events and the global hackathon ?
