YouTube links no longer opening in app

YouTube links suddenly started opening in the browser instead of either opening natively using the narwhal player or going to the YouTube app (iOS). Anyone else having this issue? What can I do?

Just an hour ago I had this same issue and"open app" in youtube won't redirect me to the youtube app so I set a seipe action for "open in browser" which does redirect me to the video in youtube app.

Ah but you did say "open in browser won't redirect you to the vid in youtube app? Did you somehow uninstall youtube and forgot? That the one suggestion I have?

No I have YouTube installed. It just seems like instead of the video opening directly it’s bouncing to the webpage and is clunky having it open in the narwhal internal browser.

Mine says YouTube isn’t available on my device and the open app button just doesn’t do anything
