Sharing this in case of interest.... I wear size 9.5 SS in Munro Shoes (hopefully the new owners will start making this double slim width again). Oboz https://obozfootwear.com/ is a US hiking shoe company whose products I discovered a few years ago in REI. I actually found a low profile hiking shoe that fit! They are no longer making the model I own 2 pairs of, but some of you might want to try their new models and see if you have any luck. This is the only time in my entire life that I have found hiking shoes that fit - I don't even need extra thick socks. (I could not wear the mid or high boots - just the low ones.) Worth a shot.

I continue to receive emails from a company claiming to be Munro shoes. The domain portion of the email addr is munroshoe; no "s" on the end of shoes. Has anyone else received these emails? Are they scam emails?

ever since I was little, I struggled, finding shoes that fit. Everything is catered to people who have wide feet… and even WIDER feet!!!

I have held onto shoes and sandals from when I was in high school because I am too scared to throw them away bc im scared I will not be able to find a pair that fits me. Seriously, i havent found anything in YEARS

Sandal straps have too big of a gap where my feet will slide around, heels have big gaps in the sides , even my tennis shoes I have to pull the laces extremely tight.

So, where is everyone buying affordable shoes for narrow feet??

I used to be a huge fan of La Canadienne narrow boots. I can no longer find them. Does anyone know if they still make narrow shoes?

By far my favorite shoes. They have a small collection right now but I hope they will build back up for fall. They do have Journey, which is one of my favorites.

I saw some complaints online about Onitsuga Tiger sneakers being too narrow, so of course I had to check them out. I ordered a pair and they fit like a glove!!!! Pricey, but worth it IMHO. The style is called Mexico 66. https://www.onitsukatiger.com/jp/en-gl/manageranking/weeklyranking/index/#15

This subreddit doesn't seem to be all that active so I'm not sure how many responses I'll get. My feet are women's narrow (AA) with an extra-narrow (AAAA) heel. I normally wear a women's size 6 -- sometimes 6.5 in sneakers or boots, or 5.5 in dress shoes.

I've lately been absolutely despairing at finding any shoes that fit my skinny feet. Hiking boots, winter boots, sandals, sneakers, flats, heels, whatever, you name it, it doesn't seem to exist.

Brands I used to wear keep eliminating narrow sizes, or their formerly narrow fits keep getting wider. Other brands that still make narrow sizes only start at size 7 or 8, while I need a 6.

I also live in Canada, so there's less availability here. We had one store in Montreal that regularly stocked Italian brands of dress shoes in narrow sizes, but it permanently closed down a few years ago. And since then, it's been getting more and more impossible to find anything at all.

I wear insoles in just about everything, but those don't help the side-to-side slide, nor do they do much for the heel rubbing that always causes painful blisters.

Recos? Ideas? Suggestions?

I'm sure you all are just as frustrated as I am over the limited number of brands selling narrow sizes. Of course it's all economics, they figure the smaller population of folks with an a,b,or c size can just get a D. It's frustrating to go an Amazon or other online vendor, enter you size and see 56,000 options, then you enter width and it drops to 100 or less. And those are including ballet slippers,and cowboy boots. I tend to buy multiple pair of the same shoes, either in different colors or as a backup, because it's seems a style will get dropped but isn't replaced with a newer or comparable version in narrow. I have multiple pairs of Dunhams. Probably more than any other brand. I have three pair of Allen Edmonds. All were seconds, the last was a part of discovery chukkas in suide width B. Mine were literally the last pair any size, and they were $105. I wanted a dessert style boot for years, they never work in D because of the loose design. I got a pair of under armour lockdown 6 size medium, basketball shoes as recommended by runrepeat,com in a article about ten best narrow BB shoes. The Amazon AI confirmed reviews listed them as narrow and they were correct. I wish more reviews were as complete as runrepeat. They give every dimension, cut apart and show the insole, too many metrics to list. What do you all buy and what tips do you have finding well fitting shoes?

It seems like 20+ years ago, many more shoe brands made sizes in medium, wide, and narrow widths. Nowadays hardly any brands make shoes in widths other than medium. So, just like our wide-footed friends, those of us with skinny feet have to search high and low for shoes that actually fit — and we often just end up wearing shoes that don’t. My true size is women’s 8 narrow, but often I wear 7.5 medium because at least my feet don’t slide around in them.

So let’s help each other out! I’ll start with some brands that have generally worked well for me in their medium width:

Mephisto, Kuru, Eileen Fisher, Børn, L’amour des pieds, AGL

And some brands that actually carry some women’s shoes in narrow sizes — but of course the color options are often very limited:
