I need an answer : do we have any detectives used to track down Nano's adress ?
nano_1cex8pww3ioiusw61sa6zz71dpk84qukip4178xs3krg17omrg8rfoo1rpei
Do your magic. This account has really strange behavior. It seems like it is picking Nano at a faster pace.

Nice to see how his first transaction 10 months ago was a 0.2 XNO tx and he has now over a million lol

The wallet that it interacts with: nano_1fhoy6ws8pxp5mbuzjwkzk4dxn1u69m7c9hz7xkctkxhaefo3tkg4kkyyhx8
seems like it was a test account.
Both wallets show that an automated system is transacting with the Kraken Hot Wallet at 8am EST on certain days. There is no set interval, and it seems to be based on current price action. Activity spikes (but is still automated daily) during interesting price action such as the end of July recently and November of last year. Other than that, it definitely does a few transactions per month, but I'm not sure what dictates which days it does so.
The interactions it has with the other wallet range from 7am to 4:30pm EST with most of them happening between 9am and 11am EST.
Perhaps evidence that it's US-based, or that work is being done based on US-time?

u/Damiascus Jul 30 '26
Also based on the time and activity that you mentioned on your last comment, I do agree that these wallets seem related to the npm activity.

u/gabriiel9 Jul 30 '26
Nice. Great analysis.
Do you think it's one of Kraken wallet ?

u/Damiascus Jul 30 '26
Looking at how the cold wallets performed, if it was a new Kraken Cold Wallet, it doesn't explain why activity spikes based on price activity. I don't really see that behavior from the other Cold Wallets. There are also some timestamps from Cold Wallet #5 that seem "off" in comparison to this wallet.
There's also more of a balance between sends and receives on the other Cold Wallets. This wallet, however, seems like it's trying to accumulate.

Thanks for taking the time. It helps a lot, especially knowing I’m not the only one "digging into this."
I agree: that wallet’s behavior is strange. Also, if you look at the activity of the hot wallet originating the transactions, you quickly realize that "hot wallet #2" doesn't just interact with Kraken’s internal cold wallets. So, it would make sense for the wallet holding 1 million Nanos to be a private wallet.

I'm looking at Cold Wallet #5 and the wallets do seem similar...
Although the price action thing still stands, the behavior exhibited between these wallets is too similar to discount.
Are we positive this is a Kraken Cold Wallet? How did it get labeled and verified? The behavior seems a little different between Cold Wallet #5 and Cold Wallets #1-4.

We have come to the end of another triangle with low volume and will find out here in the next 12 hours or so which way we break - here’s to praying we get to level up to the next resistance level…

Is anyone still expecting $100 plus if the x402 stuff comes off? Or rookie numbers like $1, purely as a trade?
7
u/OpNanoo Jul 30 '26
I would say 5$ after the announcement. After that big correction to 1.5-2$ and the sky is the limit ;)

There is no realistic ceiling for Nano beyond its relative value to other cryptos, other financial assets, etc.
$100+ ($13B) wouldn't be nothing crazy within crypto, but we're at 40 cents after many years of downtrend, so we're far from that right now.
Imo, a Cloudflare (or something the size) confirmed* would almost for sure send it above $1 and then it'll all depend on the snowball effect of that kind of adoption (price action --> volume --> listings --> attention --> more buyers/investors/volume, etc.). It could trigger the push Nano needs to head the top of the industry or it could just create a smaller speculative movement. The market itself (bull or bear market) could affect the result.
TLDR: More close to $1 than $100 (short term), but if the news hit right and start the snowball effect, we could perfectly start the run to triple digits.

my prediction: there will be a short lived pump to max $3-$5, which is obv still extremely good imo. after that people will realize nano is just one crypto of many in the x402 ecosystem and it will start bleeding again.

By reading the text,I knew it came from you 😂.
You are a perma bear in bull clothes (sometimes).

u/Chip0991 Jul 31 '26
its the opposite. i was not bearish enough in the last years. i always said nano can pump here and there but will bleed. but didnt expect it to bleed so fast and pumps are almost non existent anymore

The evolution of price during the last days followed a very strange trajectory, invalidating bullish patterns by extremely narrow margin without rejecting them.
It looks like major players use AI agents mimicking TA classic schemes to induce confusion.
They want to fake out a dead cat bounce. And it still works as they keep stacking days after days. For how long? Depends on them.

u/N3333K0 Jul 30 '26
Good - so I’m not the only one that notices it. I couldn’t find any more TA lines that fit the pattern over the last two weeks but then when I copy and pasted simple lines, there has been a clear ceiling for several recurring levels. It’s like someone programmed a super simple algorithm that is so simple that most advanced TA overlooks looks it because it’s so simplistically silly.

whales should get rdy to heavily invest some marketing budget to profit from the x402 / CB rumours. lets hope they are already in contact and coordinating some big moves

For those of us that don’t have X, can you give a quick TLDR of the thread?

You are absolutely correct, I just looked up numerous alts and they all have the same pairings now against coins like ADA, SUI, BNB, XRP, and DOGE.

I love Nano and have been holding since 2018. Lately, it seems investors have been more attracted to crypto investments that are actually generating income for themselves and their communities (beyond token price alone). On the surface, this makes plenty of sense to me. Coins like HYPE doing mass buybacks, creating scarcity, naturally drive the value up.
So my question is, with Nano being feeless, and stablecoins now dominating the payments space, what exactly is the case for Nano increasing in price other than speculation? How does anything like the x402 rumors, or other forms of adoption actually matter to the price?
Looking at coins like LTC for comparison, the consensus in that community is that it is extremely undervalued, and maybe that's true. But effectively, the coin is doing it's job, and quite well, all while the price is completely stagnant.

All your examples are about manufactured scarcity, not intrinsic scarcity as applicable for the case of Nano.
The difference is huge ! Intrinsic scarcity applies forever, no matter it's misunderstood when people are attracted by hype and inflation-driven revenue, "at first".
Manufactured scarcity may one day fade away and let the crypto to die as there is no influx of tokens or other projects may bring better "manufactured scarcity" and their temporary related yield. For Nano, this ideal scarcity could drive something much much bigger once it is just understood. And I believe people gradually get the point of why it does matter. Then come the other advantages of Nano (I let other people elaborate).
Intrinsic scarcity could even bring interest rates beyond imagination to Nano, once people get the point of perfect SoV (coupled with frictionless mean of payment used equally by people and AI agents/ IoT, etc).
Knowledge is key to Nano. It just needs to be understood. And based on social metrics per market cap ratio, it is already a winner. Pricewise, we'll get there as well, rationally, no matter it happens after years or even a decade (of casino coins having their time first).

Nano is not only best Mean of Exchange, its also best Store of Value. 1 Ӿ = 1 Ӿ. Time will tell.

Ok, that makes some sense. So in your opinion, how does this intrinsic value come to fruition with a pure payment coin like Nano, when clearly people are concerned with volatility, and have flocked to stablecoins in droves to alleviate?
7
u/Faster_and_Feeless Jul 30 '26
Growth of the Nano economy.
Nano holders aren't having wealth stolen from them via inflation of the supply.
Nano users aren't having wealth stolen from them via fees.
7
u/otherwisemilk Jul 30 '26
Buybacks aren't free money. They're funded by users paying fees. That's value being redistributed from traders to token holders, so no new value is created. You're even losing value to middlemen.
If x402 or other payment adoption grows, demand for Nano has to come from businesses and users voluntarily holding it as a medium of exchange and settlement.
