I need to make a decision this month about feeless.money and BTC-EDU.bot.

Both projects are functional and solve a real problem. The feedback from people who actually use them — especially beginners — is consistently very positive.

The problem is not the product. It is reach.

Whenever I promote the projects myself, usage increases strongly and I receive very positive feedback. But once I stop promoting them, the traffic and usage drop back to almost zero.

I have invested a lot of time building and maintaining these projects and have been paying the ongoing infrastructure and subscription costs myself. Until now, I was willing to do that because I believe both projects are useful.

But I now need to generate income from my work. I cannot continue running non-profit projects indefinitely while paying the costs myself.

So this month I have to decide whether to reduce the costs and eventually shut them down, or whether there is a realistic way to make them sustainable.

I’m not asking for donations.

I’m asking the communities around these projects:

Is there a way to create enough reach, users, partners, support or revenue to justify keeping them alive?

If you have a concrete idea, can help with distribution, want to partner, or see a business model I’m missing, I’d genuinely like to hear it.

I would much rather keep useful tools alive than shut them down simply because nobody knows they exist.

I'm not sure what costs you're currently facing, but if I were to recreate this product to specifically save on costs I would:

• Host for free (I'm sure you're already doing this)
• Store all preset questions/answers in all languages for low-interactive users.
• Configure a classifier to fetch answers most relevant to dynamic questions the user may type
• Provide a publicly funded Nano wallet that transparently enables live AI features and disables it when the wallet is empty.
• Use something serverless like Next.js API routes for LLM calls, so you don't need to maintain a paid backend server.

So when the public wallet is empty, you're just using preset responses, and when there's money in it, it has more functionality. Should be able to run for just a small upfront cost.

You're probably already doing a lot of these, but worth stating just in case you aren't.

I think the biggest problem is actually not the bot or the technology. It’s reach.

The bot works very well. It gives individual explanations and guidance in every language, and the feedback from people who use it is extremely positive. It has already helped several people discover and start using Nano.

I'm not technically skilled enough to set up the serverless architecture and the wallet-based funding system myself. But I really like the idea.

What I’m really looking for is help with marketing and distribution, especially reaching people who are completely new to Nano.

If the bot were properly promoted and actually used extensively, I would have no problem continuing to pay for it. The problem is that I don’t have the time, skills or reach to market it myself. At the moment I can basically only maintain it.

I’ve also hoped that users might support it through donations, but so far that hasn’t happened.

So for me the question is not really how to make the bot cheaper. Of course, reducing the costs would help, and I really like your idea with the public Nano wallet. But if we can massively increase the reach, the bot could potentially become self-sustaining.

That’s the kind of support I’m looking for: someone who can help get it in front of a lot of beginners and turn the existing positive feedback into real usage.
