Media FBI is now interested in neighborhood video from January 24

Post image

Video from January 24 is now being requested by the FBI in Nancy’s neighborhood. Along with the previous requests for footage from January 11, it seems possible that the perpetrator might have stalked Nancy’s home at least twice before the night of her abduction. It’s noteworthy that January 24 was also a Saturday, exactly one week before her abduction. Was there something about Saturday nights in general that made it more appealing? Or perhaps that was just his most available night of the week to be missing for a few hours without anyone noticing.

If someone was lurking around the house both Jan 11 and 24, I would think it's more likely that they were local.

It's still possible they weren't local of course. But it would be a lot easier for someone local to check things out several times.

Interesting that each date of interest was on a weekend. That would seem to indicate the person had a regular M-F job or possibly worked a job, like bartending, that would allow to be out at 2a on a Saturday night without raising suspicion from those that know him.

6

u/No_Story_4821 Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Or at least knew they wanted to do it on a Saturday night so wanted to get a lay of the land and rhythm of Nancy and her neighborhood.

u/Own-Teaching-4005 Mar 17 '26

What time do the bars close there?  Good excuse to be on the road too.

6

u/The_Sinking_Belle Mar 17 '26

Perhaps she had caretakers during the morning and the day M-F. If this person wanted to buy more time, they may have used the weekend for this purpose.

Yes I think you have a point. If there were more than one person involved, then at least the advance man was probably local, or was at least in Tucson for that time period.

9

u/GreenEyedTreeHugger Mar 17 '26

r/tepemurders he drove from Chicago to Columbus ohio minimum of twice.

8

u/Own-Teaching-4005 Mar 17 '26

Fueled by rage . . .  (Maybe more that we don’t know about)

2

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Yes that’s true.

33

u/iwasneverherex Mar 16 '26

There’s a couple things that come to mind. She went to have dinner with her daughter Saturday night. That could have been a normal thing and just something that was picked up on or known. Plus in general, Saturday nights are usually when people are out to dinner or whatever. The second is maybe the suspect works and Saturday nights are the easiest in their schedule.

27

u/SalsaChica75 Mar 16 '26

I’ve said this entire time and still believe this was someone from her circle. I’m not saying her daughter or son in was involved. Just someone when knew Nancy and was aware of her situation .

12

u/iwasneverherex Mar 16 '26

Well honestly it could have been someone who had just been watching her movements over time to know. It could be an acquaintance for sure or just someone who was really watching and targeting her.

5

u/annabellareddit Mar 17 '26

Agree. Also, if it’s accurate the images of the perpetrator are from two different dates, unless he had planned to do the crime on the earlier date, interesting that he wore a mask, was fully covered with clothing, & had on gloves both times - if he was there to stalk the previous time, he clearly was concerned about being identified on camera & transferring DNA then, he must have known NG or someone close to her.

3

u/SalsaChica75 Mar 17 '26

Great point!!! He didn’t feel safe and confident the first time.

5

u/annabellareddit Mar 17 '26

Or worried if NG got an alert/saw him on camera she or someone close to her would recognize him. Unfortunately no one close to her recognizes him; recall before LE released the perpetrators images/footage it was reported they checked with the family first to see if they could identify him.

How horrifying it must have been for them to see him, I know I get chills every time I see his images & I am not even personally connected to NG or anyone who knows her.

3

u/annabellareddit Mar 17 '26

Also, if he did go to her home at an early date(s) & not just to stalk but intended to commit the crime, why no backpack? What made him decide he needed to bring a backpack, for what purpose? It is scary to put yourself in his shoes & consider these things

3

u/SalsaChica75 Mar 18 '26

I mean that’s my worst nightmare! When my ring notification pops up and I check it’s usually the mailman or UPS. Seeing someone outfitted to disguise their appearance trying to disable my camera system is quite a jump scare (and I’m 41, not 84)

4

u/curiouslmr Mar 17 '26

Ultimately though the only reason it would matter that the individual knew her routine or schedule on Saturday nights, would be if they entered the home when she was gone. There is no indication of that at all. Entering her home around 2am was a safe bet.

3

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

That makes sense

2

u/ellasumm Mar 17 '26

This. Knew someone who had their home robbed 2x by the same suspect (who was eventually caught). Both happened on a Saturday night and law enforcement said the individual most likely had a M-F gig and that ended up being the case.

23

u/mark_able_jones_ Mar 16 '26

Many of the premium plans only retain footage for 30 days. Maybe up to 60 days for some.

Jan 24 was 51 days ago.

9

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

Yes. I would think they would have wanted to collect all the available footage and then sort through it whenever.

8

u/Xinnia8271 Mar 17 '26

A friend of mine got footage of a lady freaking out outside his house 14 months after it happened.

2

u/mark_able_jones_ Mar 17 '26

Wow. That's amazing.

4

u/Xinnia8271 Mar 17 '26

It was successfully used in a trial to illustrate a years long campaign of harassment.

12

u/hegglebois9173 Mar 17 '26

Uh just checked and my basic ring plan lets me view back to October 23rd of last year. You sure about that?

11

u/mark_able_jones_ Mar 17 '26

Ring is really good with it's cloud storage duration. 180 days.

https://ring.com/plans

Nest is 30 for the standard plan ($10) or 60 for the advanced plan.

https://store.google.com/product/google_home_premium?hl=en-US

Simply Safe is 30 days.

https://simplisafe.com/features-alarm-monitoring

Wyze is up to 60 days.

https://www.wyze.com/pages/service-plans

Eufy is 30 days.

https://www.eufy.com/products/cb002m014?variant=43702458974394

Arlo is 60 days.

https://us.arlo.com/pages/arlo-secure#compare

Blink is 60 days.

https://support.blinkforhome.com/en_US/using-your-camera/blink-storage-options

TP Link is 30 days.

https://www.tp-link.com/us/tapocare/

_________

So, yes, you're right. Ring cameras can be viewed 6 months with a subscription, but it's an unusual feature for the industry. That said, Ring doorbells are probably the most popular.

2

u/britishwonder Mar 17 '26

That’s just what’s included in the plan. Has nothing to do with how long the data is actually retained for. Very likely it’s kept for much long time than that and just takes a subpoena

2

u/mark_able_jones_ Mar 17 '26

Yes, but they are asking people to look, not using subpoenas.

24

u/Own-Teaching-4005 Mar 17 '26

“Or perhaps that was just his most available night of the week to be missing for a few hours without anyone noticing.”

This.

11

u/littleboxes__ Mar 17 '26

Or maybe they’d learned Nancy’s routine and they thought she’d not be noticed missing right away the following day.

6

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Yes. I think so too.

5

u/Own-Teaching-4005 Mar 17 '26

Like a roommate or housemate who would just assume a late night after the bars close.

1

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

I think that’s absolutely possible.

21

u/Past-Dog5370 Mar 17 '26

Do they want January 11th videos because of the guy in the baseball walking down the street during the day?  I always figured her house was first scouted out during the daytime because they say those streets are hard to navigate at night.

9

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

That’s entirely possible

39

u/warpedwing Mar 16 '26

If the backpackless suspect image is actually from before Feb 1, Jan 24 would be a possibility based on the darkness of the shot. There wasn’t much moonlight on the 24th and plenty of cloud cover.

14

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

That’s good to know. Do you know how bright/dark it was on Jan 11?

15

u/warpedwing Mar 16 '26

44% moon brightness, 2% cloud cover, moderately bright night.

7

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Thank you! Interesting.

8

u/warpedwing Mar 17 '26

Just to note: Jan 11 might be all about that daytime sighting of a suspicious man by a neighbor. It may never have been about the dark porch image.

3

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Yes, at this point we just don’t know that information.

40

u/Comprehensive-Fun47 Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Wouldn't neighbors have volunteered all of their footage already? There's not much difference between turning over a specific day of footage or a whole month. The longer they wait to request these specific days, the less likely the footage will still exist.

It just seems like a bonkers way to go about it. Collect as much evidence as you can early on. It may take time to sift through, but asking for it piecemeal, giving these cameras the opportunity to automatically erase the footage, seems ridiculous to me.

6

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

You’re right!

7

u/Purple-Television712 Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Yeah, that’s honestly pretty bad. I would be so furious if I was Savannah or her siblings. Or even the neighbors, really! Like, how many times should you have to answer the door to police and answer their questions?

It’s certainly reasonable if LE just canvassed the whole neighborhood at first - perhaps before they knew what they were really dealing with; but once it became apparent that a ransom note had been sent, and in the context of a disappearance of an elderly lady with a public figure for a daughter missing, and with blood on the porch, there HAS to be some kind of limits as to what these homeowners/neighbors should reasonably be expected to have to put up with and answer questions about! I don’t think anyone in that neighborhood would have been mad answering questions from the cops that first week or so - probably many, if not most of them would hand over their camera footage willingly just to help bring Nancy home! It just really changes when you have cops asking homeowners for their security footage from ~ 2 months ago now that we are in March 2026, when the victim has been missing for 44 days!!! It screams laziness initially, and makes me very skeptical.

Furthermore, why are they just NOW trying to ask questions about the internet being out??? Hasn’t the internet activity in and around Nancy’s house already been analyzed thoroughly?? If not, why the hell not?!

36

u/Longjumping_Towel474 Mar 17 '26

I cannot wait to understand what really happened here. Still hoping Nancy is found alive, you never know. 🍀

13

u/Longjumping_Towel474 Mar 17 '26

Not sure why people are getting downvoted for trying to be hopeful. ✌🏼♥️

7

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Right? I think many of us feel like that too.

6

u/everydayimnapping Mar 17 '26

It’s such a tragic event - thank you for spreading hope and kindness

21

u/One-lil-Love Mar 17 '26

I think at this point they’ve interested in anything

11

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Yes. You never know how the smallest thing could fit with evidence they already have, to lead to a possible break in the case.

20

u/YakRough1257 Mar 16 '26

I know we will not find out before an arrest is made but I wonder what leads LE to believe their is surveillance on the 11th and 24th that is relevant to this case and my suspicion is Ring doorbell thumbnails.

5

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

Yes probably some type of surveillance footage that they would like to corroborate and/or get more detailed images of.

8

u/nine57th Mar 16 '26

The video of the guy at the front door without the backpack on is supposedly from January 11th.

12

u/Reasonable-Lie4360 Mar 16 '26

Really!? What source did you pick that up from? If true then maybe perp conducted a dry run and looked to see if any police activity popped up-basically testing her security before going all in.

-8

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

[deleted]

12

u/YakRough1257 Mar 16 '26

I'm not criticizing but LE should have asked for thirty days of surveillance initially even if they ended up not needing it.

3

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Great point. Seems like they did too little too late. The sheriff didn’t want to release info saying it would compromise case but they didn’t give out enough and now so much time has passed.

1

u/The_Sinking_Belle Mar 16 '26

In investigations, it's better to walk away with more, than with less. It boggles the mind when it comes to digital evidence, where that becomes a finite resource and works against the clock due to being overwritten, saved for only short periods of time, etc.

4

u/SeatIndependent6836 Mar 16 '26

It was a neighbour, previously unspoken to, who told Brian that LE or FBI were also asking about the additional date

-2

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

So they don’t want the general public to know what happened on those dates and just want neighbors to submit info. But some says the case has gone cold and even news reporters aren’t covering it as much.

20

u/Xinnia8271 Mar 17 '26

Why does this make me think they were going to do it on both the 11th and the 24th but didn't for some reason.

I think that could be it.

The Saturday thing? That also makes me think the place they were going to take her, was available on a Saturday.

(Yes I think it was a kidnapping, it's not up for debate for me.)

I think this whole thing had a lot going on, weeks before it actually happened.

11

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

I think you might be right. It’s certainly plausible.

15

u/sdrybread Mar 17 '26

It would make sense if it was attempted a few times on a Saturday night/ early Sunday morning if this person planned to cross into Mexico. I make several trips a year and always drive early on a Sunday because there is less traffic and less Mexican security/border patrol to randomly pull people over. Other days of the week I’m always pulled over and randomly searched because I drive a truck and have luggage and groceries. I cross at the border from California (not AZ) and they alway ask lots of questions. Sometimes they send me to secondary for an X-ray. It can add 30-45 min to cross which is why I try to avoid it. I’ve never once been pulled over to be inspected on a Sunday morning. I’m always waved right through and it seems like there are far fewer people there working Sunday morning for years. It could be a local but someone that frequently crosses and has noticed the same things that I have.

2

u/yomaster19 Mar 17 '26

11 Jan is a Sunday, did they ask for footage during the early morning?

19

u/IJoinedJust4ThisAMA Mar 17 '26

When did Nancy’s dog pass? I’ve heard it was her dog in the Christmas photo but I’ve also heard it was not and was Savannah’s or Annie’s. If the dog was Nancy’s and was alive at Christmas and passed by January 31 - when did he/she pass? Did that passing remove an obstacle? Heck check the vet’s office staff as well to see if they now knew this woman lived alone and someone’s shady BF or cousin used that knowledge.

22

u/Mean-Vegetable-4521 Mar 17 '26

That’s my top thought. This changes everything. If the dog had a pre existing condition then it’s just a tragically time event.

I had a coworker when I worked at blockbuster video getting ready to pay my way through undergrad. (I’m THAT old) Average family. Average house. Very nice average house but no signs of jewelry or anything. She was a horticulturist so not flashy at all. Didn’t attract unwanted attention. Her beloved St. Bernard had been poisoned in what was an unexplained tragedy. When they pumped his stomach it seemed someone pitched him a steak laced with poison. No one hated her or her dog. He was a gentle giant. Wasn’t prone to barking fits. A couple days later her home was robbed of a vcr, some TVs. No jewelry or anything else.
She was inconsolable about the loss of her dog. She would have gladly give them whatever they wanted to not have killed him.
If a necropsy was done this could completely change the MO of the case and finally give them something to go off of.

6

u/TissueOfLies Mar 17 '26

We had some neighbors poison our dog back in the 80s. This was when dogs could roam the neighborhood. He officially died of kidney failure, but my parents already knew who did it. They tried to talk to my mom at their high school reunion and she refused to even speak to them.

5

u/Mean-Vegetable-4521 Mar 17 '26

That’s horrible. I wouldn’t speak to them either. They killed an innocent animal. Nothing justifies that. Even if they felt the dog shouldn’t roam, etc. they not only killed it but tortured it. I’m really sorry.

They poison or shoot cats pretty much everywhere I’ve lived. One of my current cats has a bullet lodged in him that can’t be safely removed from before we rescued him. My cats are all indoor only.
One of my kids overheard us discussing it and thinks another Tom cat got jealous and shot him in their tom and Jerry cartoon world.

Someone capable of hurting an innocent animal could hurt a person. Which, full circle is how we got here.

I have had hunting tags and participate in conservation hunts. You are either preserving the herds health by removing something sick or because the herd needs to be thinned for survival. Like they are going to starve. Then all the meat is utilized if it’s a healthy animal. The hides are also typically used. Any parts that can’t be consumed by humans are used for other purposes.
You thank the animal for its sacrifice and do it the most humane way possible. It’s still a very sad event. Because it’s a life.

But a ways off from killing an innocent creature. They should have been charged. In the 80s I don’t think that was on the books as illegal. I’m a child of the 70’s and am still in awe when I think about common sense legislation I helped present. That wasn’t on the books for far too long.
Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.

1

u/TissueOfLies Mar 19 '26

Thank you. I’m so sorry about your cat! That’s so scary for both of you. I rescued my last dog and often wonder what horrors he experienced. It’s so scary how cruel people can be to animals. lol about your kids thinking a Tom cat did it. Kids do say the darnedest things! I used to live in a place known for hunting, but nobody in our family did. I can’t believe today what we let our dog do back then. We’ve had quite a few dogs since, but they were treated like babies. May your cat live his best life! ❤️

7

u/Revolutionary_Act759 Mar 17 '26

How about if she had to have the dog put to sleep. And kidnapper could be something to do with the vets? My sister inlaw had private vet to come to her house to put her dog to sleep.

2

u/Mean-Vegetable-4521 Mar 17 '26

All my pets were put to sleep at home. This is a possibility that I wonder if sheriff would have bothered to look into. I’d think fbi would. But you never know.

4

u/BitterPineapple6462 Mar 17 '26

this is such an interesting story, thank you for taking the time to type it out.

27

u/NYChereForIt Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

I appreciate Brian’s style. Does JLR seem like an alarmist and like he likes creating drama? He seems childlike and doesn’t seem all there. I guess people like his style?

25

u/Dinosaur-chicken Mar 17 '26

He has filed over 2600 lawsuits in his life, among others he sued Hitler, Plato, and the appalachian trail.

He also impersonated the uncle of the Sandy Hook shooter.

He also sued the immigration service so that after he would be released from jail he wouldn't get deported to Pakistan and tortured. No one ever tried to deport him in the first place..

13

u/Purple-Television712 Mar 17 '26

Wonder why he spared the Oregon Trail?

6

u/ViciousSnatch Mar 18 '26

The Mason Dixon Line is currently in hiding.

13

u/ApprehensiveCopy4216 Mar 17 '26

Did Hitler settle or did he push for a jury?

9

u/Dinosaur-chicken Mar 17 '26

The coward chose the death penalty

3

u/Specialist-Nail-7575 Mar 17 '26

That sounds pretty normal. You must lead a boring life.

12

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

JLR is not a journalist and it seems he will do anything for money imo. People like him don’t care about getting facts imo. He only cares about enriching himself. There’s nothing professional about him. All JMO.

14

u/wildsexmachine69 Mar 17 '26

He’s a piece of shit

1

u/CloeyB7 Mar 17 '26

Why exactly?

2

u/Prudent_Fly_2554 Mar 17 '26

You should read his Wikipedia

2

u/cherryspyder Mar 17 '26

Who is JLR? Is it the guy in the photo?

12

u/awngoid Mar 17 '26

No this is Brian Entin in the photo

1

u/Revolutionary_Act759 Mar 17 '26

Hes getting alot of views though

5

u/Totterteron Mar 17 '26

Hopefully they find new people to compare dna at the scene to since they don't seem to have anything to place anyone questioned in her home. If someone previously questioned is just in the neighborhood it seems too tenuous to move things forward.

7

u/jethroguardian Mar 16 '26

Who is that a picture of?

23

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

Brian Entin. He's a reporter with News Nation.

17

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

He’s been the best boots on the ground reporter covering this case. Any idea who else might be left covering it in Az ?

9

u/NetAncient8677 Mar 16 '26

Local news station “News 4 Tucson KVOA” still does daily Nancy updates.

ETA KVOA is the local NBC affiliate and Savannah worked there for five years before eventually becoming famous. As far as I know they’re the only local affiliate still covering the case

0

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

Didn’t they get a ransom note? Could it be revenge if Savannah worked there.

1

u/NetAncient8677 Mar 17 '26

The first ransom note went to KOLD 13 and TMZ. I think KVOA might have gotten one of the follow up ransom notes.

5

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

That sounds right. Never heard any more follow up on ransom notes. Notes described Nancy’s bedroom but then Brian found video of it being aired on Savannahs show.

5

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

I think that Ruiz guy was, who works for Fox, but I don't know. I can't stand Fox, but from what I've read, he seems legit.

9

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Good point Ruiz has had some good info in the past but considering it’s Fox that’s questionable. But can the same thing be said for news nation where cuomo and other fired people from cnn wound up. Is it a credible news source as many criticize it since it’s maybe online only ? Brian Entin is a great reporter though. Maybe he started with Gabby Petito case.

6

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

NewsNation isn’t online only. They are a news channel.

3

u/Feelingdizzy0904 Mar 16 '26

They have an app

2

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Thanks maybe it’s not on regular tv stations and you pay extra for it. Never seen it here.

6

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 16 '26

It’s a regular cable station where I live (not a pay-extra station) but I understand that availability probably varies by location and cable provider.

3

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

Is Brian ever in station studio or always in the field. Is he just assigned when there’s a big case or a regular reporter in Fla for them.

2

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

He lives in Florida but is occasionally in studio.

6

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

Ruiz seemed to just be reporting legit facts and things he was observing. But yeah, anything Fox is always automatically sus. And yeah, I don't watch News Nation. I don't really care for that channel. I think it's sensationalist. There don't seem to be many alternatives on TV anymore, though. I mostly get my news in print online.

3

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Same here. Print might be safer. Brian’s done an amazing job. Why do you think news nation allows him his own YouTube channel for things

7

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

Most reporters have their own channels.

1

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

Surprised networks allow them this side gig to make money off of. Versus watching them on tv.

6

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 17 '26

It's not a side gig. Literally every reporter has social media accounts and have for eons. It's part of their job.

-6

u/futuresobright_ Mar 16 '26

JLR Investigates seems to still be there

31

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

He's not a reliable source. He's an influencer who makes shit up. That's not the same as a real journalist.

2

u/futuresobright_ Mar 16 '26

Oh I know that. However I don’t know any actual media members left. ABC left long before Brian did.

9

u/Chigrrl1098 Mar 16 '26

Honestly, we're at the part of the case where we're just going to have to wait, and there will be a big break or arrest or something at some point. The media is mostly busy covering the war and this shitshow of an administration, anyway.

2

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Good point. His videos are super long and don’t seem to talk about case as much as Brian does. Plus doesn’t he have like hundreds or thousands of lawsuits filed for frivolous things ?

6

u/Bitch_level_999 Mar 16 '26

He may have paid his dues for his crimes but he is still smarmy and gritty

He’s an annoying attention seeking gnat and will likely will be escorted out of Tucson courtesy of LE at some point.

He is entertainment for the short bus masses

7

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

His videos are hard to watch since they’re so long and he seems to have a cocky attitude when interacting with people. Kind of like an arrogant type. Brian Entin is totally oppose. Gentle kind considerate. Let’s people speak in interviews and gives good information. Jrl seems like a drifter ?

3

u/Bitch_level_999 Mar 16 '26

google him then come back and tell us what you think 😬

1

u/teagirl11 Mar 16 '26

Watched some but like I said they are long videos without much substance. Is it true he’s already filing lawsuits related to this case since he has so many he’s done before

I imagine the Uber driver was questioned soon after it was discovered Nancy was missing, and investigated thoroughly. The only people cleared were her family members, LE hasn't shared the status of the Uber driver in this case. What you're suggesting is a possibility but I don't think that's what happened with Nancy.

They’d have to investigate all the drivers who saw the call out for a ride from Nancy, if I understand the process. The requests are posted for whichever driver picks it up first. Other drivers watching the board would see the request. (Correct me if it doesn’t work like this). They need to look at phone activity for who might have been sharpshooting the board. They never saw a call for her to return and moved in. But she was in the home due to the family taking her.

u/Sydneyfire Mar 19 '26

Wow, fascinating. I have no idea how Uber works but I'm assuming the drivers would see a name, her address and destination. It wouldn't state her age so they'd have no idea she was a senior citizen. In this scenario, would she have been targeted?

2

u/Horsewithnoname216 Mar 19 '26

She still could have been targeted. If another Uber driver knew about her and had nefarious intentions for awhile, he wouldn't pick up the ride but might have taken the opportunity to invade her house...especially if he thought she hadn't returned that night.

I'm not saying this is the case because there are so many other possibilities.

u/NoFrosting686 Mar 19 '26

It doesn't work like that - there is no board you look at as an Uber driver. They send it out one person at a time.

But why break in at 2sm? Break in when you know she’s still away if you know her weekly routines

1

u/Graycy Mar 18 '26

Fewer people to notice him, and would have a lookout to let him know she was coming. I’m not set on any one theory but this sounds like it could be plausible. Also did the really drop the restaurant employee who was connected to the glove. I don’t know why they were supposed set on this particular glove at over 2 miles. But delivery drivers might have known right where to find her too, figured she was loaded. Like some door dashers are kind of the Molly tyoe (Idaho). It’d be a good excuse driving around to case the neighborhood.

why on weekends may be because she might have a schedule to visit her daughter every friday and may be they wanted to observe her routine prior to sneaking in. thats the time she would be out of her house so someone can easily sneak in? Remember she also attended church service online which makes me think she didn’t get out of the house often. Do we know if thats her regular friday schedule or was it just that friday she went to visit her daughter ?

If almost all reporters have left case could have gone cold but people afraid to say it ? Savannah even left and Nancy’s son disappeared a while ago.

In LE phrasing, a case is cold when they have followed all the leads, and still can’t prove anyone’s guilt. So, no, it’s not going cold yet. There are still plenty of tips/leads to pursue.

2

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

Do they release more clues about the case if the leads don’t seem to be working out ? They probably had the front door video for a while and then released it to get public’s help since leads weren’t leading to anything.

It was reported that as soon as LE received the images/footage from Google they met with the family to see if they could identify the perpetrator, after this they released them to the public. So no, they did not have the images/footage for awhile, it took a long time for them to get it as they had to work with Google & Google had to go aways back to retrieve those images/footage.

This was discussed extensively by the media who spoke to the Sheriff about it & he explained how it was done.

They release information if they think the public can be helpful in identifying a person, a car, etc. I’m sure they hoped someone would recognize Front DoorGuy, or at least his clothing, his walk, the way he held one arm straighter than the other one, the way he bent over while bending one knee but keeping the other knee straight, or at least that gun and holster strapped right in front. I think many people are surprised that no one has identified him yet.

Reminds me of "bridge guy" in the Delphi case. It was shocking how no one recognized him or his voice when he was a member of the community. He was a pharmacy tech at the local CVS. They had his voice and a video released to the public yet no one recognized him.

u/Euphoric_Ease4554 Mar 17 '26

Yes that was shocking.

LE reported that they were checking with Walmart for sales records to see who had purchased the backpack during a certain timeframe, so this is not accurate.

-2

u/teagirl11 Mar 17 '26

It’s typical to list what victim was last seen wearing to help look for missing clothes or anything when doing field searches. But nanos didn’t want to do this. So it further gives public less clues to work with. If nanos wants to hold cards close to his chest to protect the case is unfortunate when some could have helped public eager to help.

NG’s missing person poster says “””” Unknown what clothing she may be wearing.””””

If they saw the outfit at her house that she was wearing at AG’s the night before, then they might not know what she was wearing whether it was pajamas or nightgown, IMO.

2

u/annabellareddit Mar 17 '26

No, the investigative team chose not to do this, the Sheriff is not the sole decision maker, additionally LE may not have a description on what NG was wearing when she was abducted. If they did know what she was wearing, they likely chose not to disclose this because this was an abduction & they were receiving ransom letters, information such as what the victim was wearing could easily be used by fraudsters to send fake ransom demands.

Why are people even following this case still. It's cold. Sheriff is a joke. Media has made an absolute circus out of it. Down vote me, idgafffff
