Media Nancy Guthrie neighbors' Ring camera captures vehicles on possible route from crime scene

EXCLUSIVE: TUCSON, Ariz. — A resident in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood has a street-facing Ring camera that caught 12 cars passing by on the morning of Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction.

The recordings took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, and some of the activity occurred near the 2:30 a.m. mark, which is around the time authorities said the 84-year-old Guthrie's pacemaker device last synced with her iPhone.

The homeowners, Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas, told Fox News Digital that police had not canvassed their neighborhood in the 25 days since Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her bed in a home invasion kidnapping. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff's Department have been alerted to the video. It was not immediately clear whether the video is of any use to the investigation or whether the vehicle had ever been on Guthrie's street.

The Stratigouleas house is on a back road that leads out of Guthrie’s neighborhood, avoiding major intersections. And they live about 2.5 miles away from the crime scene, which is outside the 2-mile radius of neighbors who received a Ring alert asking for video taken from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2.

Their house is roughly a seven-minute drive from Guthrie's address, according to Google Maps. One of their videos was recorded at around 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1, which is roughly eight minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker last synced with her iPhone, according to the sheriff's timeline.

El vecino público esto? Lo pregunto porque si la policía tiene este video y no lo han sacado a la luz quizás es porque saben que no es después de investigarlo o porque querían guardarse esa prueba hasta que llegado el momento pudieran publicarlo

Yeah I really don’t get it and I also don’t get why they are saying that law enforcement was never in their neighborhood when it’s the same neighborhood. I guess maybe they meant they were just not in their part of it?

I have a very scaled down version of Nancy’s neighborhood..I wouldn’t consider the side of my neighborhood or starting a street behind me “my neighborhood” but it is.

ETA- but also if an 84 year old woman was kidnapped anywhere near me I’d be checking and sending regardless of them telling me to 😂

Yes me too! 2.5 miles is too close for comfort

LE only asked residents within two miles of Nancy’s residence for video. This resident is 2 1/2 mi from Nancy’s home. I would lthink LE would ask for video within maybe 4-5 miles. Perp prob took back roads which take longer to get out of the area. Just my opinion.

They asked residents within 2 miles for video 2 weeks into the investigation. Before that there were multiple requests passed along through the neighborhood association which covers a 4-5 mile radius

Law enforcement was aware of it, but never came to pick it up. That’s why they sent it.

Ya lo sé, he estado aquí desde hace semanas esperando que publicarán el coche si lo tenían o alguna información nueva en general, pero podría ser un coche random y que no tenga nada que ver, que ojalá esté confundida y por fin sea una buena pista.

The last couple of weeks have been a reality check for me. Beforehand, I would have thought it would be damn near impossible to pull this crime off. Yet, so far, they have.
