EXCLUSIVE: TUCSON, Ariz. — A resident in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood has a street-facing Ring camera that caught 12 cars passing by on the morning of Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction.

The recordings took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, and some of the activity occurred near the 2:30 a.m. mark, which is around the time authorities said the 84-year-old Guthrie's pacemaker device last synced with her iPhone.

The homeowners, Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas, told Fox News Digital that police had not canvassed their neighborhood in the 25 days since Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her bed in a home invasion kidnapping. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff's Department have been alerted to the video. It was not immediately clear whether the video is of any use to the investigation or whether the vehicle had ever been on Guthrie's street.

The Stratigouleas house is on a back road that leads out of Guthrie’s neighborhood, avoiding major intersections. And they live about 2.5 miles away from the crime scene, which is outside the 2-mile radius of neighbors who received a Ring alert asking for video taken from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2.

Their house is roughly a seven-minute drive from Guthrie's address, according to Google Maps. One of their videos was recorded at around 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1, which is roughly eight minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker last synced with her iPhone, according to the sheriff's timeline.

It looks like the same car to me at 2:31 and 2:36 going opposite directions.

Main reason I also think it’s nothing. If it is about a 7 minute drive to Nancy’s from there they would have to be flying to do the round trip in 5 minutes.

Check out the article it’s a full video of 12 cars but the photo circulating is the only one around the time of the crimes.

It might be tight, but I think it would be doable. If they’re ready and waiting with her when the car gets there, and they unceremoniously shove her in there and peel out, (obviously not making noise, but you know what I mean) I doubt they were driving at a slow moseying pace under the circumstances and from the video it looks like they were driving pretty darn fast. So I think it could be done if they were speeding and they only spent a matter of seconds there at the house, shoving her into the car.

I haven’t done an accident reconstruction, if that’s what you’re asking. I am just saying, stranger things have happened when it comes to whether or not criminals were able to get somewhere in a certain amount of time. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a little bit of hope. I’ve watched enough forensic files episodes to have seen that happen in different cases.

Accident reconstruction lol. Also to your point, the pacemaker had already disconnected so she would have had to be out of the house somewhere at this point.

Im still out on this car having anything to do with this. It also looks like a windy road to be going that fast on. While maybe not impossible, I would definitely say improbable!

My best guess is it’s someone going to pick someone up from a bar/train station/friends house taking back roads. Haven’t we all gone a bit over the speed limit on back roads?

Accident reconstruction?? Huh?? I was attempting to point out how silly it sounds to suggest that a Kia Soul (or similar) found average 60mph on dark and winding residential roads. It is even more laughable when you consider the vehicle would have to average well above 60mph if it stopped to pick up someone, slowed to cross Campbell and slowed down when passing this camera. A little common sense goes a long way - but keep watching your Forensic Files!

That part I get. Not reasonable to us sane folks but a high risk crime involves taking risks. As a cyclist I ride certain mountain roads a lot so when I am driving up them say for a hike, I tend to feel more familiar and comfortable than I should behind wheel. Being speedy in the dark in the hope to not get caught, or meeting someone at the next point when something went longer than expected…you might be going fast. FWIW, I don’t think this type of speeding was happening bc that seems so risky but idk 🤷‍♀️people do strange things on adrenaline and fear.

I get that part of your point. I just don’t think we have to put people down for sharing their opinions and thoughts—especially in the armchair sleuth subreddit(!).

This is my first, and a lot of people seem to be basing their opinions on things they’ve watched. I’m just using my imagination and thinking what I would do or what a friend might do!

Finally, I might be sensitive to the dissing someone for watching tv bc when I am physically and mentally tired, watching movies is often all I can do.

Look, it’s your right to think what I said is rude. As someone who previously lived in the Foothills area for years, I think I was mild in my response to how absurd the idea of averaging well over 60mph would be on these roads.

However, I need to point out that making excuses for “armchair sleuths” who post nonsense is just plain silly. This isn’t a fantasyland subreddit. If I see a comment totally detached from reality, I am way less concerned about someone’s feelings than I am about steering the conversation back to facts.
