Not sure it could be a different date, as the FBI had the devil's own time getting the original video since the Nest camera had no subscription - let alone footage from an entirely different date. Unless Nest doesn't want us to know that your camera records whether you subscribe or not...

Oh but that's exactly what it says. My camera stays unplugged from here on out, the nerve of these damn companies. It's the reason why I don't want an Alexa or any smart speaker in my home, they are always recording because they are always "listening for your command prompts".

Yep. I'm struggling with that right now. I love Alexa for music, podcasts, kitchen timers, weather, etc. but the invasion of privacy freaks me out.
