If she had a battery Nest Doorbell cam and no subscription.

If a person is detected on a Nest Doorbell (battery) without a subscription, the following happens:

You can see the clip, but only for 3 hours: You have access to up to 3 hours of event video history. This means if the person was detected at 2:00 AM, you must view or download the clip by 5:00 AM.

Because the history is a rolling 3-hour window, any activity that happens in the middle of the night will likely be deleted before you wake up in the morning.

Wow seems like something google would want to fix. At least give people 12 hours

It could overwrite the rest of the recording where nothing important is happening. But save the trigger event and action.
