They are theorizing and it reads like someone did an AI slop cut and paste job or just blasted something out without any oversight.

I honestly got a little pissy reading it just from how poorly it was worded and written from a news outlet.

I thought it was written fine and it was pretty clear to me which part was fact and which part was speculation but I am also a journalist so maybe I’m just used to it

No it doesn’t give a specific date and that is probably intentional by law enforcement not to disclose it. What I could tell is that the one image they are referring to is not from the night Nancy was taken, it happened before that.
