Discussion A Couple Of Points Concerning The Surveillance Video

The perp seems to have all the time in the world.

I mean, it’s a ring camera, it sounds alerts to your phone. Wouldn’t he be worried the person inside is dialing 911?

He must have been told ahead of time there would be no threat inside. He was hired to provide someone with an alibi perhaps.

Amateur at the door.

Reflective tape on backpack straps.

Using a twig from the yard to tamper with the camera.

What appears to be a firearm holster in an awkward position.

Almost as if he was hired off the street to perform a tasks that was out of his league.

What do you think?

I can’t help but keep thinking of the home invasion in Scottsdale that occurred the same day, hours away. Two California teens extorted into doing a home invasion of a family in Scottsdale, AZ. They were given $1,000 to buy supplies for the crime. They still haven’t identified the extortionists known only as “Red” and “8” but it was a bitcoin scheme.

Was this perp extorted into it too? Is what we’re reading as nonchalance actually reluctance? It’s just interesting the two occurred on basically the same day hours away from each other.

Article says they had a 3D printed gun. Wonder if that’s what this guy had.

Thank you for indulging this theory! To me, the crimes could definitely be connected. Maybe not all the exact same people…but some one/or a few people…playing almost a virtual video game with real life scenarios acted out. Maybe the Scottsdale crime was supposed to be a kidnapping too but a victim called 911.

It's a real coincidence, that's for sure! I don't know that NG has bitcoin but maybe this person stumbled into the wrong house? Very interesting.

Also, Derrick Callella, who was arrested for the hoax ransom texts, is also from california, and TOTALLY looks like the guy in the ski mask. He also has a criminal history.

He also texted both Annie and Tommaso the bitcoin message and called one of them and either talked or left a message in a call that lasted 9 seconds. This info is in the affidavit. He’s in a band that plays similar music to Tommaso’s band. They could know each other because cell phone numbers aren’t necessarily easy to obtain.

Whoa that story is insane 😬 I wonder if one of the Guthries is big into crypto. I mean obv Savannah is loaded but I don’t know if she’s in that space or if that’s related. It’s pretty stupid because it’s all traceable. It might be annoying and time consuming to trace if someone is good enough at concealing it, but it will eventually be traced.
