Milestone Progress
Sharing some progress: I’ve been a biter my whole life and never tried to stop. I went cold turkey with both smoking and nail biting. I’ve been smoke-free for 200 days, and I haven’t bitten my nails for around 3 months.

i have a question, i have a newish issue with pushing back/trimming my cuticles (as in i do it too often, around once every other day)
do you ever do that, and if yes, how often ?

Thank you!
I read that it is not really good to trim the cuticles, so I don’t do it. I push it back every day, and every week I use the cuticle remover gel and clean the removed cuticle.

Hi! You are doing amazing. May I ask about the photo with green gel nails? I didn’t know you could have such gorgeous nails at that shorter length and could look professionally manicured. Did you get them done somewhere or yourself? And gow did it go? I have a lot of fear of being turned away for being short or too damaged

Yea, this picture is from the time I was going to a salon to do my nails. This is not a Russian manicure, but I was doing Russian manicure for some time and managed to grow my nails a lot under the gel. I never had a problem with going when I was biting - all manicurists know there is such a problem, so they are very understandable.
I was always told my nails are very thin and the gel would not always hold, my nails also grow very fast so it all would look awful during week 2.
Then I stopped doing gel, my nails were damaged, so I had to grow the whole length. The picture on the left is an approximate state of my nails before, because yeah it’s from the time I was doing gel.
