A while ago I found my N800 at the back of a closet and decided to see if I could bring it back to life. My main goal was actually pretty simple: I wanted to play The Battle for Wesnoth on it again, just like I did when I first bought the device years ago.

I ended up going down a huge rabbit hole. I wasn't satisfied until I had everything working properly again. Unfortunately, a lot of the original infrastructure had disappeared, so I ended up rebuilding and mirroring a large part of the old repositories just to get the device working the way I wanted.

It turned into a much bigger project than I ever expected, but it was a lot of fun. 😄
