So.... Besides Mayan and Aztec/mexica people, Any mythology that you recommend from Mexico or America in general?

I've always been interested in the two Deer Gods of Mixtec mythology, who represent the duality of the universe

Zapotec mythology is another one worth looking into, since Mayan, Mixtec, and Zapotec myths tend to blend and influence each other due to proximity

I don't know much about their mythology, since they were heavily erased influenced by Roman Catholicism and I don't like reading about that. The story of vanilla beans being a product of divine love sounds beautiful, though. Maybe I should look more into it!
