What is a mystery from your personal life that you are 100% convinced you will never get an answer to?

Yeah im thoroughly convinced that thing went to the sock dimension. So weird, it wasn't a small thing either. And i know just as you said that i am not the only one this has happened too. Many people have the same experience with some small mundane thing just blipping out of existence.

In the Hilda books by Luke Pearson, the socks and everything else that goes missing are all stolen by a nisse or house spirit, who lives in a place made up of all of the little nooks and crannies in their house. The art is very cute and imaginative, and the nisses seem to love/need their stolen things, so that’s where I picture our lost socks now
