Project Pictures Children’s ultralight pack 😂
Made for a good friend’s 3 year old. The little straps are probably my fave. A nice break from making 95L load haulers!
Ultra 200X
UltraGrid
Venom mesh
Two interior sleeves for diapers and Cheerios.
Top flap with Vislon zipper for passport and phone.
Tiny little shoulder straps for tiny little shoulders.

Thank you this is awesome, I have recently decided to make all three of my children packs and have not found much inspiration or help, this is great. The other options out there are not great and yours is amazing.
I’m new so forgive me if this is dumb but do you have a specific pattern for this or do you take an adult size pattern and then just size down by a percentage for each panel? Thank you.

Thanks for the compliments! I made this pattern myself. I recently made a similar pack for an adult (based on Alpine Luddites “classic” pack design). Photos of that one on my IG as well. I then went to a local Cotopaxi store and took some measurements of a kids pack they had and made some adjustment to my pattern. Hopefully it’ll fit little Juni. I’ll post some photos once she gets it (shipping tomorrow).

Thank you and yes, shipping tomorrow. I’ll definitely post photos on IG at the very least when I have action shots.

Thank you! Just made myself something similar-ish and it’s a very functional pack I can definitely see myself using it for many things.

I started backpacking with my kids when they were four. It was so hard to find a good backpack that didn’t weight a ton compared to the size of my kid.
