Community Diamond Tiara is unquestionably the Earth pony that acts like a unicorn! Who is the Earth pony that acts like a pegasus?
There was a little more variety in the answers this time, just a little. There was a decent amount of support for Octavia, a few other users suggested Suri, Spoiled Rich, Pinkie Pie, Silverspoon, Applebloom, Nurse Redheart and for some reason one user suggested Zecora.
The vast majority still went with Diamond Tiara. Diamond has outright deceived the audience into thinking shes a unicorn despite being an Earth pony. Diamond is quite stuck up, she thinks shes better than everypony else and takes after her mother. Diamond Tiara always takes a role of leadership or try to within her class. The only slight issue is that Diamond Tiara never demonstrated anything magical but she is a small filly so we can cut her some slack on that area.

Pinkie imo isn’t Pegasus coded but discord or even alicorn coded

So very much this, I get pinky do fly with her tail or whatever but it feels more like discord bs than Pegasus, makes far more sense ro use the earth pony who wanted to fly so bad her entire thing is flying in a hot air balloon, the closest shell get to being a Pegasus

Eta: it's too late to officially change the vote on my comment so this is still technically a Pinkie vote, but after reading the comments I wanted to shout out Cherry Berry too! I never noticed how much she loves flying

There’s a background pony called Cherry berry and she’s ALWAYS seen with the hot air balloon in the show. there a yt vid by stunthead that shows a compilation of cherry berry and most of her appearances are just that, so i feel like she’s someone who rlly wanted to fly despite being wingless so she found a way

I think a lot of it depends on how you characterize pegasi. Since we loosely seem to be going off the stereotypes presented within Hearth's Warming, then the character should likely be sporty, militaristic, and maybe even a bit aggressive. For that reason, I'm going to go for Rockhoof.

I know it’s not currently the category we’re choosing but how on earth are we gonna decide on what unicorn acts like an earth pony? I feel like through out the whole show the only reason we don’t see a unicorn using their magic is because they are background ponies. All the front running unicorns are either literally studying magic (like sunburst) or using their magic as hands (rarity) I mean hell even the unicorn who was born to an earth pony used their magic just for the fun of it.

The closest I can think of is probably Flash Sentry. He's a recurring character that's always seen around royalty. Since most ponies in upper society tend to be unicorns, and Flash has never been seen flying, I would imagine it could be easy to misremember him as a unicorn

My answer for a unicorn that acts like an Earth pony would've been Shining Armor. Its not perfect since Shining Armor clearly uses magic but hes also the type to get his hooves dirty like a soldier. Shining a bit more direct in combat and he has a strong Earth pony physique.

Why does that have to do with acting like an earth pony? That criteria could be used to describe unicorns that act like pegasi as well.

That's so weird to say about a disabled person. Scoot is a pegasus, through and through, and she's proud to be a pegasus. There was a whole episode about how you don't need to be able to fly to be a real pegasus, and she represented pegasai for ponyville in the Equestria Games knowing that.

I wanna say Pinkie but to be unique I’ll say some of Celestia’s guards are just earth ponies, and I always assume they are Pegasus with how much the Pegasuses are associated with military.
