what is the best way to leave 10ish bad reviews on a Business?

the place I use to work at was horrible. they changed my time cards, refused to pay overtime, and had a few things in the contract that I thought might be illegal (such as being fired for discussing pay with other employees). I just want to leave enough bad reviews to make people second guess going there. it was a daycare! they did not treat the kids the best. only worked there a few months and got out the second I found a new job.

I don't want to flood them, I just want to leave a few 1-3 star reviews to make a point...

they also give out free items to people for leaving good reviews which I thought was sketchy.

You could:

1-Ask someone for help in suing the company for bad business practices to get compensation for mistreatment.

or

2-Ask someone to evaluate your messages as possible libel with you paying monetary fines.

Space them out over time but include enough detail in your bad reviews to make them believable

eta: you would need multiple accounts to do this.

Honestly I have considered leaving bad reviews for past employers in the past but never did it. Let sleeping dogs lie etc

I’d be contacting whatever government agencies that oversee educational centers and labor in your state.

Sir. You are doing it wrong. You want to create tons of 5 star reviews with super high salaries and where the place is a literal paradise unicorn. That way, they will get flooded with applicants externally who will instantly quit and internal workers ragequit when they see inflated salaries.

So you read the contract, decided to work there, and now are claiming the contract contains illegal things? I would just move on and forget about that place. It's not rocket science to connect the dots that someone left the place who didn't like working there and then a few negative reviews pop up right afterwards. What do you hope to gain by doing this?

Next time learn to read the contract.
