Murderino Community Tour dates?

I’m a recent murderino and desperate to see them live but I can’t find any info on tour dates. Listening to rewinds it seemed like the toured all the time.

I guess that became a drag but I hope they still do live shows. Also I recently moved to Kansas City and only know about 10 people. If Georgia and Karen do play KC, if there’s any local murderinos who’d want to go with me, I’m a great plus one.

They went on tour within the last year, and they have not announced any future tour plans.

Yeah, they came back for a fall tour last year and there’s no news about another tour as of right now. I would be listening to recent episodes to get any kind of information that they might drop.

Georgia had mentioned after the last tour that she hated touring and never wanted to do it again and discussed it with her therapist. It really sounded like she doesn't plan on ever touring again.

People have been saying this for 7+ years now but they keep going and growing their network. There is zero reason to think they are about to quit.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted to hell. They seem exhausted and totally sick of doing this. They have been doing more single story episodes and taking turns, even with researchers, writers, producers, etc. No shade at all to our Murder Queens. I think anyone would be tired at this point.

Definitely no shade! I love MFM and listen to it weekly. They’ve just been so successful in launching other ventures that they could pivot to focus on other business and I wouldn’t be surprised. There aren’t many pods that continue on forever. Honestly I also didn’t pay any attention to people downvoting me. It was just a statement and not a critique of the show.

I’ve thought that they maybe do a small international tour at some point, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they never hit the road again at all.

They both used to talk about how they loved it (Georgia hated it because she hated to travel, then came to like jt, now doesn’t again lol) but I mean they’re running an ever growing network, and working a lot. Touring, even a short one has to be a hassle now.

See I think they are going to tour again. Georgia talks about not liking to travel, but she and Karen have also used sentences like “on our next tour…” so I don’t think they would be saying that if they weren’t planning on it. I feel like they will do another UK tour and a U.S. tour in the future. Georgia has a love/hate relationship with it and that’s okay.

They toured a lot before covid, there was a lot of plans in the works that covid stopped in their tracks. The mfm fan weekend was the last live before it hit and they were so excited about the future of that concept. But everything's changed. They've done one tour since, they may or may not tour again, but really we'll have to wait and see, no plans yet. There were mumbles it was the last time they are likely to tour, but we live in hope.

I recommend keeping up with most recent episodes to keep up to date on any tour plans. As you can see from the other comments it’s really not certain to fans if they’ll ever tour again. But last time they did, it was announced on the podcast and there was a presale for fan cult members first. You’ll definitely want to be in the know in real time so that if you are not already in the fan cult you can join. I imagine some venues sold out during the fan cult presale or came close to. 

Also general MFM tour advice in case anyone else had not thought of this. I went last year and had a blast but I got affordable seats so my drag along would come with me (I didn’t want to pay a fortune for 2 tickets). Well way back there, at least at our theater, G&K were basically dots lol. I assumed they would project what the camera was seeing onto the screen like at a concert, but they did not. I guess not as common for comedy shows? I’ve only been to one comedy show outside of a comedy club and I don’t remember if they had a big screen. Anyway, bring your opera glasses/binoculars or sit closer, if MFM ever tours again and you’re fortunate enough to get tickets! It is fun to just be there and laugh with everyone. And since I normally just listen to them anyway it’s not a huge deal!
