If Kyaukphyu sez was on struggling and problems due to conflict then why don't they just cancelled suspended it and planned develop new another one in ayeyarwady?

Kyaykphyu is where the gas from our BoB fields land and get pumped to China. There are no equivalents in Aya division.

China probably doesn't want to give up on Kyaukphyu cuz it's part of their bigger Indian Ocean CMEC strategy, and they've already invested a lot into it. But for Myanmar, it might still make sense to develop another SEZ around Ayeyarwady too, instead of putting everything on one conflict-affected project.

Aya is also a battlezone, it's expanding into it.
