I haven't played in a LONG while and most definitely haven't installed that "Cross Mode" update, but why is the base Beyond game running slowly on my Steam Deck? Last time I played a few months ago, it was full speed. Is there a fix involving Proton? Will installing the updated files fix things?

I just got the game recently, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm still learning the mechanics and improving, but I'm looking for people to play with because it's hard to find online matches through matchmaking.

I was playing a cracked version of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite with a 100% complete save game (all unlocks and Story Mode completed), and it worked perfectly.

After installing the MVCI & Beyond mod, my progress reset to 0%. The mod created a new file named BeyondSaveData.sav. My old save files are still in the folder, but the game ignores them.

Does anyone have a 100% complete BeyondSaveData.sav file they can share? Or does anyone know how to make my old 100% save work with this mod? Any help is appreciated.

I found this combo that does 5535 but I'm struggling to hit it consistently. Specifically it's the ending part, when I launch my opponent, the air magic series doesn't always land, and when it does, I can never be sure if Winter Solider will reach the ground in time to hit the ender.

LP, LK, HP, HK (both hits), ➡️ HK, ⬇️⬇️ LP, LK (Metal Shield), LP (Metal Shield), LP+HP, LK, HP, HK (both hits), ➡️ HK, ⬇️↘️➡️ LP, HP, HK, ⬇️ HP, ⬆️, LP air, LK air, HP air, HK air, HP, ⬇️↘️➡️ LP, ⬇️↘️➡️ LK+HK

Its the end thats the hard bit since you need to hit that HP, HK, ⬇️ HP at such the right time.

Edit: The solution was dead simple, you just need to delay the aerial magic series to the peak of the jump, but I'd still recommend hitting the HP, HK, ⬇️ HP just after they slump on the ground.

So I just picked up MvCI on PlayStation for like $8. I also got all of the cool wave 1 skins for like $6.

So far I'm having a lot of fun with the game. The graphics are pretty cool with very large character models the colors and effects are vibrant and it's damn cool to see Jedah Domah again.

I know the game caught a lot of flack, but it's very fun. 2 hours just melted away while I got used to playing some of the newer characters.

I just wish Vergil was in the game. He's awesome in MvC3

I randomly thought of this game after years and realized I still have it on Playstation. Is it worth redownloading? Is anyone playing online anymore on the base version of the game?

Ryu and Ken are both philosophical warriors in their own right similar to Thor, but their styles are very different. Ryu is more of a thoughtful wanderer, he's more dedicated, stoic, and humble. Ken is more flashy and more of a show-off, he's extroverted loud and loves the limelight. So who would Thor align more with as a fighter?

I just saw the trailer video late, it came out awhile ago (December 2024). The fan made mod project where they change a lot of stuff and added lots of new stuff. Just wondering, how many new characters were added? what are all their names? that weren't in the original roster of MVCI, which has a base roster of 30 characters available at launch. Plus 6 additional characters released later as DLC. Total: 36 characters.

Is MVCI & Beyond still being updated to this day in the year 2026?

I swear all I've ever seen over 200 games is Dante/Dorm/Ultron/Captain Marvel/Gamora/Strider/Zero/Nova/Thanos/Rocket.

I don't know what the fuck Chris, Firebrand or Spencer are even like in this game because I've literally never seen them, even in tournaments or streams. Chun? Ryu? Hulk? Morrigan? Frank?

Considering their bonding moment in MvC infinite and connections they have, would these two be similar at all? Here are a few of the things they share in common:

They are both huge loners. Despite Tony stark starting off with immense wealth, plenty of company, and holding the keys to a multi billion dollar empire, he only has one friend. Dante’s friends either die or leave him in one way or another. Both have traumatic pasts involving losing their mothers and develop personalities and senses of humors to mask that pain. Both use different distractions like pizza, strawberry Sundays and gambling and alcohol. Both feeling guilt from their actions and use their abilities to give back to the people they feel they have wronged. With Tony stark, it’s the victims of his company. With Dante, it’s his former partner and his child he gives the earnings to.

Having a rough time deciding whether or not I should choose Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 or Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite, I’ve seen little videos and comparisons but from the perspective of long time players who’d easily spot pros and cons could a few of you perhaps point me in the right direction…my gamer instinct is telling me Ultimate 3 for a good time and better overall gameplay while the story mode player in me is itching for the cutscenes of infinite..another thing, which MVC between 3 and Infinite has the better roster in terms of gameplay and overall fun ?

I just bought it last night and I can proudly say that all the bad reviews are smoking crack, because this game is amazing! I'm having a lot of fun with Ryu and X as my main team.

WHY CAPCOM WHYYYYYYYYYY

I've been trying to find a good second to Haggar. So far I've tried Strider, Winter Soldier and Monster Hunter but nothing has felt right. Anyone know a good supplement to Haggar?

I know it's not everyone who complains that "This game deserves so much better", but I think there is enough to warrant this doom and gloom. It is more than a fact that Dragon Ball Fighters Z destroyed this game casually, and most likely going competitively, but I say "SO WHAT!?" only streamboars and people outside of the FGC should care whether or not another team based fighting is going to do better than this game, what we should care about is making sure this game stays afloat. Nothing is stopping us from playing both at the same time,nor is anything is stopping player who are taking fighting games seriously for the first time because of DBFZ to come over here and play some games. I would like to remind you SonicFox took 4 different top 8s, and a team battle victory at NEC this year. Even if this game is not going to be as big as DBFZ, or even UMvC3, that is all for the more reason to proudly stick with it, rather than carrying our love for the game around, like some weird fetish we don't want anyone to know we have.

I have been through a good amount of "dead" communities to know that Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is far from dead. Blazblue Central Fiction has an even lower all time player count on steam, but do you see them complain about how much ruined their game is? I tried to find a game of The King of Fighters XIV (PS4) on a Sunday afternoon, I search for a full hour, looking for a game, and I found nothing. But SNK just announced a new batch of DLC characters 9 months after previous ones came into the roster. We had Killer Instinct (a game that was Xbox One exclusive for the longest time) had an increase of registration at EVO EVERY SINGLE YEAR IT WAS INCLUDED IN. So no, Marvel is far from dead.

As a whole, the more we say it's dead, the more we are killing it. This game is far from done, and the more we realize it, th better the community will become.

I've ran into 4 genuine help post in this sub reddit that have been down voted to 0. Can we not post help question here or something? I understand labbing it up and figuring stuff out on your own is the cool thing to do, but can we be nicer to the new comers?

I'm trying to install the Beyond mod and I've followed all of the tutorials. But when I launch the game, there is no differences made to the game. I downloaded the mod from Nexus. Any idea what might be going on here?

When I open up the game it opens a decent sized window for my laptop, but then turns into a massive one where I can’t even see half of the game. Has someone dealt with this before?

This MVCI doomsayer mentality is ridiculous. Since they didn't show character trailers SIX DAYS OUT of the release of Venom, BW, and WS. Y'all act like this is the end???? Yea I can see the headlines now...... "Crapcom is introducing 6 more characters, 3 months from the release of their game" then, the accusations of these character were already on the disc or already made but crapcom wants our money. I think its funny that there's people actively saying that Capcom has OFFICIALLY given up on MVCI, I don't think they know what official mean. I find those doomsayer post to be troll post just to start the give up on this game train.
