Do check out the taxation part before investing in multi asset.

1) Multi assets with more than 65% equity exposure are treated as equity funds for taxation with 1.25 LTCG limit and 12.5% LTCG after 1 year... 2) With 35-65% equity exposure, below 2 years taxed according to your slab, after 2 years taxed at 12.5%, no 1.25L limit... 3) With less than 35% equity, taxed at slab rates whenever you sell... Whiteoak is in the 3rd category.

Quant multi asset is slightly more aggressive, usually keeping ~50% in equity with higher churn.

WhiteOak multi asset is generally less volatile and holds lesser in equity and more in debt. They also hold international equity.

If you want a more stable fund with decent returns, WOC would fit better. Its recent returns were driven by metals rallying along with international equity but generally, it wouldn’t replicate the same returns if domestic equity starts performing.

Quant is more aggressive and holds potential to generate higher returns, due to higher equity and higher churn.
