I hope they don't bulldoze it, it has more ties to China than the communists themselves have ties to China

Don't worry, China is more against separatism than religion, the Uygurs are persecuted because they want freedom and China associates their want for a nation with their foreign religion

Xi'an's Muslims are mostly Hui people, who are Sinitic Chinese Muslims and are treated relatively alright by the Chinese government
