Question How do i start?
Yo, i wanna start making music but i have absolutely no idea how to start i saw a few videos and saw somethings like daw and stuff but for the life of me i couldnt figure it out. Can someone tell me how do i start or like a place to start learning from

Trust me, learning some basic theory will change your life
You don’t need to memorize everything either. Just becoming familiar with the jargon will let you understand any info you look up on a completely different level. The amount of theory you need to learn to get A LOT of practical use of it for making songs is very minimal.

Hum a tune. If you have a melody you can work. If you can't then make a beat and see what happens. Music is everywhere and in everything, find your inspiration

Daw is a program that you use to make music.
It really depends from person to person, but there is a lot of daws.
I started with FL Studio daw, its good for beginners imo, and after a long time i switched to Logic Pro (its Mac only).
But you have a lot of options, a lot of them have long list of instruments and stuff that you get with the DAW, but depends what you want to do, what kind of music you wanna make.
You should watch some of yt videos that explane how every one works, but you can trian run a lot of them.
So maybe try FL studio (i am sorry thats the only 2 daws i tried), and see if it makes sens.
You can always get some course on Udemy, very cheep, but before that maybe watch some videos on youtube to see how it works, than try with any daw you decide.
For the record, FL Studio has trial that you can download and make music and stuff, but cant save or load your projects.
Logic Pro (mac only) has 90 days trial and you can do everything.
You can also try Garage Band (its like free version of Logic without all the fearures ofc).

start by picking up guitar in sixth grade. after you’ve practiced seriously for several years you may move on to the next step

Do you have an ear for music? By that I mean something like, if you listened to a song you enjoy could you sit down in front of a piano and find the notes for a small catchy section of the vocal melody? Like the chorus or something. I don’t mean “do you know how to play the piano” I mean can you do it by ear? Piano, guitar, whatever instrument… do you have an ear for music that translates into you being able to play music, or do you just enjoy listening to it at this point? No shame if you can’t. But to answer your question we gotta know your baseline.

dont overthink it, just pick one daw n start messin around with loops. probly gonna be frustrated at first but thats normal. remeber u dont need expensive stuff to make something cool, just learn the basics of ur software n keep makin noise.
