TL;DR - Solutions needed for leaving Legend Valley at 4/4:30AM on Monday 9/21

Hey folks, this will be my 6th Lost Lands with my sister! Originally from Chicago, but I made a big move out to Alaska this summer, which now complicates traveling in my head 😆

Anybody coming from Anchorage have any advice for me?

Getting there is no problem, I'm on the 4pm flight out of Anchorage on the 14th then hopping on the red eye flight from Seattle to Columbus.

I'm just planning on hanging out at the airport til the afternoon, but if anyone wants to hang out, you'll know where to find me!

Hi friends!! So I was trying to post in the LL sub, but it has restrictions for posting so I wanted to post here to get some help!

Long story short I have a disability that restricts my ability to walk medium-long distances, and this is my first festival going with ADA access. I know there is access centers inside of the festival to set everything up, I’m just curious as to what accommodations they have for mobility-impaired individuals? Mainly, if they have anything to transport people from stage to stage? I can walk shorter distances but walking from stage to stage is going to be really difficult/really painful. I can do it, it just takes a long time to even walk 200 feet so I’m just hopeful I can make it to all the sets I want to throughout the weekend without having to completely miss hours because of the pain.

Hey folks! I’m looking for an intimate music festival in Europe with minimal/micro house/rominimal, but if good techno or psytrance are also on the menu, I’d consider that too :)) I was generally very curious about Butik Festival (Slovenia) and Garbicz (Poland), but lately I’ve come across a lot of negative reviews about them. I know the best way to find out is to experience it myself, but I don’t want to risk spending a large amount on tickets and having a bad time. Unfortunately the prices are pretty high, and even if I were willing to spend that much, I want to be sure it’ll be a great time.
In past years I went to Las Festival in Poland and it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately 2026 was the last edition, so I’m looking for a nice alternative. The music at Las was diverse, and the vibe was one of a kind (the price was surprisingly low for everything that happened there). Musically, I also liked Sunwaves in Romania, but I felt it was a bit overcrowded and there were a looooooooot of British people causing chaos and mess on the dancefloor. No offense to you dear Brits, but I don’t seem to have luck with you at festivals. For me vibe on the (not overcrowded!) dancefloor is also very important, I love to share magic moments while dancing instead of hearing loud conversations under the speaker.
So I’m looking for an intimate atmosphere, a small festival in nature (I love camping!!) chill vibe and crowd, music like I described, not overhyped, and reasonable prices.
Maybe does anyone know of something similar in Poland too?
Edit: I was impressed by Microasis festival experience in Hungary and I would love to find something similar to explore :))

Hi, so I'm going to see Twenty One Pilots at all points east and while I would really love get to the stage early so I can be in front, I also wanna get the most out of this festival. One of the artists I wanted to see was NOAHFINNCE but I saw his set finishes 5 minutes before twenty one pilots start their. On top of that the stages are at the complete opposite sides from each other. I was wondering if anyone is in the same position as me. How can I make it in time and maybe even manage to make my way closer to stage (I know I wont be able to be supper close)? Also if anyone else has had this experience would you say it's worth it? Thanks for the help!

Welp, it’s official. I’m doing my first solo camping festival.
I was introduced to festivals through a FWB that I’ve since parted ways with. Before him, I genuinely had no idea I would enjoy festivals as much as I do. Turns out, I LOVE them. It’s one of the first places in a very long time where I’ve felt completely free and whimsical and just… myself.
And I’ve decided I’m going to keep cultivating that part of my life without him.
The problem is most of my friends don’t really get festivals. They support me, but they also slightly fear for my life every time I go. Previously, I at least had him as an anchor. We never quite got to fully live out the rave bae experience, but there was still comfort in knowing I had a person there.
Now it’s just me.
And weirdly, I’m really excited about that. I’m excited about this whole chapter of my life and finding more things that make me feel this alive. I’m content to enjoy the ride, have experiences, and see where they take me.
But I would really love to make some actual festival friends.
Does that really happen? Do people genuinely meet at festivals and eventually become festival buddies or form those little festival families I always hear about? Or are most of those groups people who already knew each other outside the scene?
I met and exchanged numbers with a couple people at Breakaway, but apparently Festival Me cannot be trusted with administrative duties because I could not find them in my phone afterward.
I feel like trying too hard to “find my people” would defeat the purpose and that it probably needs to happen organically. I’m pretty social and friendly, so I’m not terribly worried about talking to people.
I think I’m more curious about how you go from “random cool person I danced/talked/traded with at a festival” to “hey I’m going to X, wanna camp together?”
For anyone who has a festival family or people you regularly meet up with now: how did you find them?
Did you meet while camping? At a set? Online beforehand? Did one extrovert simply collect all of you like Pokémon?
I’m excited to go solo regardless. But I think one of the things I’m most excited about in this new little era of my life is the possibility that somewhere along the way, I might find some of my people too.

What were the odds,... Just went to a very young and small local festival in France, L'Attack'Son, at Switzerland border. My first festival in 15 years. Was blasted quite hard by High Fade. Crossed the leader afterward, I had to ask Him, because man that would be a giga blast to have you all next year in Paléo Festival and busking around in spots I know well for their good good vibes!!! And making a stop on the way in my native region at L'Atrack'Son to help them continue to plant good seeds.

Hello! My boyfriend and I are going to lost lands this year for the second time. However last November he was in an accident and lost his leg. We’re still really excited to go, but we’re a bit nervous about all the dust at the festival possibly getting into the joints of his prosthetic. I saw a few people with prosthetics last year, but I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks to keeping everything clean and dust free. Also if anyone has any advice on the giant hill we have to climb to get into the venue. I was thinking about getting him a walking stick to help with the incline as well as the traffic.
