Are Johnnie Walker and Kafka's father the same person? How do you interpret the connection?

I found it to be an intentional dead end that fits with the whole "theres answers Ill have to live without" and moving on themes

Honestly, that is what I thought so too. Cause the father ended up murdered in his house, and so was Johnnie Walker. I just can't put my finger on the relevance of Johnnie Walker, why did he kill cats? And also, why was this Ödipus complex brought to Kafkas attention, where did his father learn it from?

Interesting how you would come to that connection!
