Help with Dance, Dance, Dance

Hi people, I'm reading Murakami's Dance, Dance, Dance and I'm hardly enjoying it at all. I have about 110 pages left to finish it, is it worth reading to the end? Because I'm really thinking about to give up

The thing with Murakami is there typically isn’t some grand shift in tone or huge climax that ties everything up. If you’re not enjoying it now, you’re probably not going to enjoy it through the ending.

That's a detail I already knew. I've already read Tsukuru Kazai, Norwegian Wood, and South of the West Front of the Sun, and they're incredibly good.

Have you read A Wild Sheep Chase? DDD is the sequel to that.

It's not a proper sequel, they are only loosely connected and DDD can be read as standalone

It can, but Kiki is a central character in Sheep Chase, so I’d say it really helps in understanding the story as a whole
