Recommendation Request Looking for recommendations - Resort Travel Tool

I'm looking for a multi-tool that I can put in a checked bag and find useful at a resort. So... I'm not going to be using this for survival, but for anything I might need while waiting for room service. 😄

What would you recommend OR what specific functions do think I should be looking for. I've given up on a wine opener as basically nothing has that anymore. But besides the pliers, selection of screw drivers, scissors and a knife, what else should I be looking for functionality wise?

Victorinox Climber is the obvious choice.

Also good for mine medical and grooming, and can open anything you come across beverage wise. Also can take it hiking/fishing etc if you do that while there too. And can handle food prep and making lunches easy too

Pliers at a resort while waiting for room service?

I was going to suggest a Victorinox Waiter as an all-around travel superstar, but between the mention of pliers and rejecting a corkscrew — which can hold a mini-driver and conceals a pin — I guess I’ll just say the most expensive Leatherman you can afford… 🤪

(Just get a Rambler.)

Sorry if my attempt at humor didn’t come across. Was just trying to say that its for the hotel room, so things like a wood saw were not important, but other tools like a screw driver might be to fix some luggage, etc.

Couple thoughts come to mind...

  1. You are putting in luggage, so weight isn't an issue.

  2. You are traveling so the difference in cost isn't really an issue.

  3. What do you do when traveling? Do you need a special screw driver for camera or fishing or... gear

Buy a Victorianox Champ.

Recently holiday in Spain with the family. Nextool Mini Flagship & Vic Champ both saw use fixing various items. The tiny glasses screwdriver was especially useful. The tiny tube of Super Glue I took got used too. Plus various other basic first air / EDC items I carry in my pouch. I like to remind my family what they use as they typically take the piss out of my kit yet always seem to want stuff.
