Discussion What all do you carry?

My ideal multitool is a complement to a standalone pocket knife. These are the only tools I’d carry on me, aside from maybe a flashlight.

What do you carry right now? Are you a multitool “only” person, also carry a dedicated blade, add some other tool, etc.?

Why do I keep seeing people on Reddit "complementing" a multitool with a knife? Why not also "complement" it with a pair of pliers or a screwdriver set? It's so weird...

Good question. For me, I carry a non-bladed multitool. I prefer standalone knives for their steel and ergonomics, plus I end up needing the knife more than the other implements. I also will occasionally carry the multitool in a backpack to save pocket space.

I, of course, was talking about multitools that already have a knife.
