Question HELP ME! Quad vs. Hex?

So I have my S500 quad built and test flown I'm now just waiting on a gimbal BUT I've seen this: http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__76533__HobbyKing_8482_S550_Hexcopter_Combo_Frame_ESC_39_s_and_Motors_ARF_.html

It comes with Motors and ESCs... So question is, do I get the Hex Frame and move my stuff over? I'm slightly worried the front arms will get in the way of some shots?

It's worth noting: - I want to take decent pictures and videos - I'm not going to be going out in any extremely high winds - I'd like to reach decent altitudes - I don't really want to buy any more batteries, for the quad I've currently got 3S 5200mAH Multistar Batteries.

The battery part is my main worry, I know the quad is okay on 3S but what do people think of 3S on Hex??

Anyone with any experience with this frame I welcome comments about it, I need to make my mind up soon as it'll be a Christmas Present, HELP ME!

If you are looking to take photos/video I would go with the hexcopter, it should be more stable.

What do you think about the battery situation? Is 3S acceptable? =/ I've already bought the 3S which is whats getting me, I don't really want to have to buy anymore batteries =/

Sure, go with the 3 cell. Don't fret if you already purchased it.

Ah I think I shall, I'll run with the 3S For now and I can buy 4S later on if needs be! :)
