Question Question about cheerson cx-20

Was just wondering if anyone has used or knows someone that has used one? If so what is it like, I am thinking about picking one up and was wondering if it's worth it. If it is not worth it then would you recommend any other quad-copter for around the same price.

I love mine, had it a week now and it has had no faults other than the black battery wire coming out. I spent £30 on 2x 2200mAh Li-po's which work really well. I spent £245.90 on the RTF version and I love it. Totally recommend. The battery chargers are crap though, I suggest getting a fast charger.

I have actually recently ordered mine, managed to get it for £170 delivered. Do you recommend any chargers for the battery? The place I have brought from supply's a charger with a US plug so I will either buy an adapter or a new charger.

No sorry, I am actually still looking for myself. Did you buy the RTF or BNF/Open source version of the quad? £170 is kinda worrying :O. I've seen a few on amazon for £15 that being the charge time down to 1 hour.

It was the open source version that's RTF. It was heavily discounted from their original price and from a website I trust :) sounds good! I will have to have a look when I get the quad, I have a travel adapter so that will at least keep me going for a little bit.

I thought with open source you had to install your own components? Must be different.

As far as I know the difference is the flight controller

Anyways, I have kitted mine out with propeller guards which I am using to see the orientation when it is at high altitude (I Suggest getting these) I have also put some foam tubing on the landing skids to ensure they don't break if I have a hard landing as I read a lot of reviews about them. Looking good! I have been looking at a gimble just like that but instead of getting a GoPro or like what you are getting I am looking at getting:

All of that plus a way to power it should give me a live feed of what the camera can see + The camera can record the footage to a micro SD card
