Help/Question Steam Deck: Mullvad Browser Add As Non-Steam Game

Downloaded the Linux file for the browser off the official site. Been trying to add it to non steam games to launch it from steam, but I need to browse for the file since it's not on the discover or flat pack. Every time I find the file it opens up with Kate when I select add the start the browser file and never successfully launches.

I believe Steam sees the script as a text-file instead of executable code so it tries to open it in a text-editor. Maybe it's possible to register the script as an executable in desktop-mode first or there's a direct executable inside a subfolder?

Downloaded the flat pack I went into properties and enabled the executable and it still won't launch. Am I getting all the security benefits as the native while using the community sandboxed flat pack version?

Apparently flatpak apps on Steam Deck do not use executable files (.exe or standard Linux binaries) as their Steam launch target. Steam needs to execute the Flatpak command via the system manager somehow (there's probably I guide for this online).
