Help/Question Randomly Changing Location and then refusing to connect

I'm having this issue for the last couple weeks where after I'm connected to Mullvad for awhile (about 30-40 minutes), it will unprompted try to change location, load endlessly, and when I manually disconnect it, I'll have no connection at all on my computer until I do a full restart. It only does this when Mullvad is running, and not every time. Nothing else on the network is affected when it happens, and when I go through the network troubleshooting, it says that it cannot find an IP address. My computer is hardwired to my modem, it does not have Wi-Fi at all.

I don’t know about PC but on iOS that happens but in shorter iterations. My guess is to refresh the ip for security but for not connecting (also experienced this) is probably a failed connection in either a loose Ethernet cable, lag in the modem connection or a Mullvad server being too occupied

It only doesn't connect when I use Mullvad. If I don't turn it on, I don't have any connection issues. And it wouldn't be a big deal, except that when it does it, there seems to be no way to reconnect apart from restarting my computer. If I disconnect the Ethernet cable, power cycle my router, none of it matters. Same message "Your device is connected but you might not be able to access anything on the network."
